Dev-Log 24th Nov - V1.20 Early Access

Hi,

today I fixed the last two showstopper issues in the DEV path which were reported from the 1.20 Beta.
I still have to merge the fixes into the 1.20 Release Path, make the walkthrough and package 1.20 for Early Access.

Dev-Log 22nd Nov - Status Beta 1.20

Hi,

beta testing V1.20 has started yesterday. A number of minor issues reported so far (and one major) but all fixable until Early Access 1 on 25th Nov
Thanks to Ashton for the quick initial testing.

The new uniforms work nicely (see screenshot) showing T'Ris SLU progression. In the future versions I will one by one convert the other characters too with progressive free uniforms.

That's it for today, mostly been doing organizing work...

Service Announcement V1.10

Hi,

today I updated V1.10.8 to version V1.10.10 to fix the following annyoing bug:

Bugfixes V1.10.10 vs. V1.10.8

  • CR-0843 / Bug / Creeping cargo capacity blockage due to inventory item misassignment (eg. Vortex from surprise crates)

The issue happened when you found Vortex Liquor in Seraphine's crates. they were mis-assigned to cargo and took up space as invisible cargo items.

V1.10.10 fixes games retroactively.

Dev-Log 18th Nov - Progress V1.20 (NSFW)

Hi,

today I did the final render for SJX 1.20 (T'Ris animation)!

Tomorrow I'll link in that scene with some dialogue and then I'll go for testing prior to Beta.

Beta will most likely be available 21st Nov, VIP Release 26th (1 day delay recovered).

Will post a 4K Variation of that wallpaper in the Vip/Upper Tier section soon...

Hi,

today I completed integration of the Main Quest in Quthor System. Belit the Pirate Queen helps you with your Precursor Conundrum if you do her a favour....

As a further bonus this gives those players who do not have it yet the chance to purchase a single Nova Disruptor at a price in her shop of "found" wares and cargo...

Still a bit behind on integration due to some IRL stuff, but overall Release Plan should not be delayed more than two days at max (BETA 22nd, VIP 27th, ...

today I've been working on further NSFW content (no spoilers). Besides that I implemented three smaller QoL CRQ

  • increase of rolled Bot names (doubled number of default names)
  • re-roll button for Bot name
  • scrapping for Type J shells activated

Dev-Log 11th Oct - Progress V1.20

Hi,

today I worked on some NSFW scene with Khelara, but won't spoiler too much. I made that fitness training bench for her (screenshot 2) which comes in handy :) Still have to rig the bench in blender so that it can be posed.

I am very happy regarding Fuent Materializer AddOn in Blender which allowed me to texture that bench quickly and hopefully avoid a too sterile look.

Also pimped the Precursor Junkyard up a bit (Screenshot 1).

with the V1.20 DEv Version for Mechanics testing out three days I have collected quite a few issues. The mission system overhaul and the progressive uniform adjustment was more complicated than anticipated.

Now it works nicely I think. Big thanks to the Testers so far!

Concept - BX-17

Hi,

I played a bit around with my texturing addon for blender (fluent) and made BB-2's evil brother :) The addon really makes it easy to layer effects like edge wear, grunge and scratches.

First I considered using him as well but one drone I think is enough. In V1.20 or V1.30 a drone has to leave the ship to apply hull plating (the normal hull is just too fragile in combat and you get wiped out after shield loss too soon).

I think its best to have BB-2 do that and not BX.17...

today I coded the uniform progression system (starting with T'Ris). I also made sure that those players who start from resume point also see the stepwise progression.

Here is how it works:

  • as Captain you can suggest to a crew member to "spice up" their outfit
  • you do that by giving her an item (uniform adjustment & repair kit)

so far two issues (still under analysis) reported for V1.10 Early Access 2.

  • Official Release on 7th is green

I used the time to create the EXH uniform progression for T'Ris as pointed out in the Poll post (posts soon, 3-4 additional uniforms) and also added combat to Drengar space.

Drengarians are arms dealers and not skimping on their seekers in battle :) Go well prepared.

Encounters will be level 4 to 7  for the experienced Captain.

I have collected all feedback from EA1 phase by now and fixed all issues in the SW main line V1.20. I will merge them all today into EA2 (V1.10.7). Tomorrow I'll test a bit and then release EA2 on 31st 9:00 GMT

Early Access Phase I (V1.10.6) feedback is now mostly available. You can see the issues that are registered in the list. Mostly "annoyances" with work arounds but I still will fix them for Early Access II.

Service Information - Warehouse Import

important information for everyone wanting to import stuff from 1.00b into a new 1.10.6 warehouse:

  • You must have made the warehouse export, and I cant stress this enough,  _before_ you start your new game (!!!)
  • Any warehouse exports in the old game made _after_starting your new game will be invisible in the new game
