For the previous month's drawpoll, I gave several options for dates Boomer and Miles could go on. The one that got the most votes was hiking! ...and it was the one I had the least concrete ideas for. I figured a leisurely walk down some trails could make for a cute moment.

I know I tend to half ass the backgrounds in these strips but this might be a new low for me, I apologize in advance. Super busy lately.

Now don't worry if this week's strip is a bit of a downer, I don't intend to drag the "will they/won't they" suspense much longer.

I try not to moralize and to leave as much up to the viewer as possible, but I see a lot of people jump to pin the blame on Karen (or even Joe) for the events of the comic when what Boomer did was pretty messed up, and I felt like it needed to be addressed before both can move on. Back to fun shenanigans next week.

A lot of people were like "wow the ending for the comic was kind of abrupt wasn't it?" Well, yes, Miles clearly isn't satisfied with how things turned out, but showing the aftermath and the two characters processing it after we've already had the climax would just fucking drag a comic that is already 30 pages longer than I originally intended, wouldn't it?
Since enough people want to see THAT, the following six strips will act as an extended conclusion of sorts. Here's part 1.

May 2021 Balls Deep commissions

I'm going to be super busy the rest of May between work, uni, the comic and MinoH, so I figured I'd get commissions out of the way to have one less thing to worry about the rest of the month. So, here's the commissions for this month!

So ever since the comic came out I've been practicing figure drawing a bunch and you can see it the most on panel 7. The hug was difficult because there aren't enough reference pictures for two men hugging on the internet, which I think is kinda sad.

Been busy with Minotaur Hotel lately so I haven't been able to practice much but still, I'm trying to do a conscious effort to improve my draftsmanship.

So I was planning on having Boomer tell his son at some point but I thought, how can I sneak a joke into this situation. I had made a throwaway joke about someone recording Karen freaking out just so Boomer could shut off the conversation and go back to the plot back in page 44 of the comic. More than one person replied something like "wow what if this comes back to bite him in the ass later".

And I thought, huh. What if, indeed.

So! I have plenty of comic strip ideas with Miles, Boomer and Zoomer with loose continuity, but I think it's unfair to demand people to pay or wait three months to get the story out of order, so I don't want to use them on Patreon exclusive content.

I think the best option here is to go for fanservice.
