I'm back home, unpacked, rested up, etc.  I had this idea bouncing around in my head - what else am I going to think about, when driving across the vast swathes of nothing in the middle of Kansas, but some wholesome Seff and Ash.  Felt like I could use a warm up after not touching my tablet for a couple weeks and cranked this out.  First three pages were more detailed, but I was starting to feel up to speed and I wanted to get as much of the idea out as I could, so I rushed out...

Just a quick update.  Finally got a chance to kick back and spend some time online, now that I am at my uncle's house in Reno, NV.  I peeked in earlier this week and saw that the scheduled polls seem to have gone up fine.  Vote in them, if you haven't already.  It looks like sunday is going to be 13 hours of driving from here to Cortez, Colorado.  Monday we will look around Mesa Verde for a few hours, then it's 30 hours of driving back home.  Need to be there wed...

Did the Zofie and Nyt pic for this month, and put together a collage of all the sketches that will be in the poll.  As a reminder, I'm going to be visiting family for the first two weeks of October (leaving Sept 30th, actually, and getting home on the 13th or 14th).  I'll schedule the polls to go up on October 1st and finish on the 13th.

First post for our new Tuesday/Friday/Sunday schedule.  First thing that I can really tangibly show for the comic, that's not just background prep, actual work on pages.  I also reworked one of the comic pages, replacing a few semi-repetitive (and kinda dense) panels with a couple internals on page 4.

As posted yesterday, we're gonna do sketches again this month, as we did them last month - post your requests (no set theme), I'll do a set of thumbnail sketches of 6 or 8 of them, and then we'll run silver and bronze polls to see which get drawn.  And we're going with a semi-firm cutoff of the fourth of September.  The usual copypasta is below.

Number two.  I'd really like to do the third sketch this month - it's quite adorable, IMO - but we'll see how that goes.  I guess it partly depends on what my garden looks like tomorrow.  The corn should be ready to start harvesting and processing for storage sometime in the next week or so, so I might be dealing with that.
