TOXICity 0.05.0 update 3 and release schedule
It's the 13th, so it must be time to discuss the upcoming release. As we've mentioned earlier, this chapter is a non-stop bullet train ride. You could probably infer what's going on from the screenshots we've dropped, but hopefully, there are a few surprises for you when you get the update in your hands.
And then there's the cliffhanger at the end. But, you know we love to drop something that keeps you coming back.

As is usually the case, we're deep into this build. Right now, we're coding in audio, stat points, and story flags as we test out an alpha build. There's going to be some reshoots and rewrites as the scene flow reveals flaws in the narrative. There are at least two spots where we even stopped and said, "Well, why wouldn't they do this?" If the update can't even get out of development mode without questions being asked, you know you need to do some last-minute rework.

I'm sure there was one for Honey Select, but we never got around to using it. Now with the new engine, we're toying with little visual elements that went unnoticed before.

0.05.0 is packed full. In fact, this chapter really doesn't let off the gas until you get to the end (and with our love of cliffhangers, even that's up for debate). TOXICity 0.04.0 update 3 and release schedule
And the wait is over. 0.04.0 is being loaded, and the release notes are being scheduled as we speak. For those who liked where we're going in the previous three chapters, 0.04.0 is more of that. While the main story is moving along, there are many little threads being set up that will play out not only over the next few chapters but over the length of the game.

All right, here we are, deep in the middle of our build. Maybe I'm feeling a little pressure because some idiot decided that February should only have 28 days, so we've got to make up 2-3 days' worth of dev time. Except for one last-second code fix implemented this morning in anticipation of impacts on a very specific conversation in 0.04.0, just about everything for this build is done.
