It's a little ahead in the timeline, John is at the fight with Diego, who might have a guy with him here... next I need to return to the club and dancefloor where we saw them last and let that play out. The Dark House preview pages 1 -4
Happy Halloween, all. Here's an idea I've had kicking around for awhile and it seems appropriate for Halloween. I'd wanted to write more stories about Kallikrates and Ioannes, Carl and John's Greek counterparts - so here are some rough pencil pages for a new story. If you're not familiar with the characters or background here, check out Hearts & Iron #4 & #5.

The next to the last page in the Proj Herc issue, the soldiers' weapons have proved ineffective against John's hard body. He's taking over.
I'm not quite happy with the design/rendering of the "swat" suits and guns, so more tweaking of that likely...

Not sure if I've posted drawings I've done for this series before - it's from a story by Dredlifter called "Dad's Glory Years" I was commissioned to draw some scenes.... but I wanted to do this one for fun. It's about a college age jock, Jed, and his buff dad Chad (both straight) and the father gets a growth spurt that keeps going and going. Drawings by me, words by Dredlifter. Yes, there's more coming.

It was 20 years ago today that I put my first site, Jeff's Muscle Studio, online, with physique drawings and the first issue of Hearts & Iron available. I went to the gym and worked out, wondering what the reaction wpuld be. Carl and John had made their debut in an issue of Gay Comix as a one page piece, and I'd had one fan letter from it.
