This is a prose story I had started illustrating for another writer a few years back - I like how this is looking, I'll continue the pages.

A character sketch I did for a story I was illustrating for another writer.
2021-01-29 07:40:28 +0000 UTC View PostI received word that Viking Love, my collaboration with Dale Lazarov, should be available at Class Comics next Friday. I'll post the link when it's up. I believe it will be digital copies only at this time.
Cheers and happy Friday!
Prompted by some comments on the latest sketch of Carl, here's some scenes from previous strips showing how big and studly he is.
Ha! Was going to make this a public post, but Patreon's sensors detected nudity and I got a prompt reminding me that's only allowed on patron-only posts....

A previous sketch of Carl with color added. Probably pumped and sweaty from a workout.

No muscle in this one. As a longtime fan of the Sandman comic series, this was a story/portfolio piece I did using those characters in hopes of getting work in the comic field. Done in late 90's.

Pages 13, 14 and 15, rough sketched previews of further developments between the Foreman and the little worker. For context, last image is a reworking of page 12 (I'm re-inking it, not quite happy with the first version.)

I usually think of H & I's John as the ultimate top... but here's a commissioned series of him bottoming for Carl. Of course he's still gotta be in control as a power bottom.

Yours truly a few years ago at a local bar's outdoor market , a friend and I had a booth. Me selling comics while he sold beard oils. Cold AF that night!

A one pager I did quite a long time ago, when Hearts & Iron and giants were a gleam in my eye. In the style of Jerry Mills of "Poppers" fame. I published this in a little volume called Tales From the Queer Side, my first zine.

With "Viking Love" complete, this year I want to get these projects done if possible: "Project Hercules," and the next installment in the Entwined Lives arc, "The King of Stones." Some images posted above. Carl and John's incarnations move forward in time from Greece to the 10th century Norse/Viking era. There'll be tales told around the fire as mead is drunk, of Irish and Scottish giants throwing stones and wrestling, and a bridge built. And somewhere down the road, the 4th and last book in ...

Happy New Year, everybody! Hope you all had a fun and safe evening.
It was twenty years ago, New Year's Day 2001, that I sat down at the drawing board to ink the pages for Hearts & Iron #1. I'd been drawing the characters before that, but I finally had a plan to show them to the world in a comic book and website. The site was Jeff's Muscle Studio; the comic didn't have its own page yet. The first two issues were zines – I made copies at Kinko's and collated and stapled them....

Partially penciled and inked new strips. Hearts & Iron #57, continuing with Carl and John taking newbie Diego to a gay bar, and Ursus Major, A Werebear's Tale #53: the werebears debate whether to leave the safety of the cave or go back in while the pandemic rages.

I've finished my pages for the collaboration with Dale Lazorov on the graphic novel "Viking Love." Barring edits, I hope it will come out soon. I'll keep everyone posted,
I'm inking new strips for Hearts & Iron and Ursus Major, and pages for Project Hercules.
Hope you are all doing good in these difficult times.
