Unsure if this has ever been made public before but this is the progress chart used when the band were in the studio recording Echolalia. It reveals some of the working titles of the songs and a bit about the process the band went through with each track.

You may have first heard this track as a B-side on Something for Kate's 2000 single, 'The Astronaut', taken from their second album 'Beautiful Sharks'.
The version that appears on that release is a relatively sparse arrangement driven by acoustic guitars and a propulsive bass line. There are no drums other than a rolling percussive rhythm that was pounded out on an empty water cooler in the studio hallway.

In May of 2020, Paul performed a handful of rarely played SFK tracks in a live-streamed performance from home. The video was only up for 24 hours to allow people in different time zones to view and was then taken down to preserve the 'live' aspect as much as possible.
We are now pleased to share these performances with our Patreon community over the coming weeks.
