Well if you have seen the last episode of the 916 restoration you no doubt were wondering about the cool blue exhaust cleaner i used? and i kept it quiet in the video so that it could be our little secret its nothing special its only Harpic 10x toilet cleaner! haha its the hydrochloric acid in it that removes the tarnish but the fact its in gel form is fantastic for keeping it on the exhaust unlike plain solution hydrochloric. It might not look like much has changed but if you look closely 99% of all the plumbing and electrical work is done all that's left now is a few more small mechanical jobs then it'll be time to stick the fairings on and to fire her up :) And its at this point when another restoration is drawing to a close that i start to panic and think uh oh what am i going to restore next!? and as usual im here asking for suggestions lol

Good old George picking up the slack while I was off ill. Thanks to his tireless efforts we are now back on track and everything going well episode 4 will finally be out tomorrow! YIPPEEE!!

Back At Work

Well its my first day back and nothing like making some nice heavy bracketry to ease myself back into it Haha! But the main thing is im back in the land of the living and making progress again so i cant wait to start chatting to you guys again and more importantly getting the next episode finished and published for your viewing pleasure :) 

Im Still Here

You're all probably wondering why I've been so quiet the past few days, well simply put I've been rather ill ( don't worry its not covid related ) but im starting to get a bit better now and i hope to be back at work in the next couple of days, so sadly this means the next episode is going to be delayed by a few days, I had hoped to get it out by Monday but sadly that wont happen now.... Oh and I will get around to replying to everyone soon now that im up and about again just incase you thoug...

Good News Everyone!

I've been working flat out all last week and im pleased to tell you that the new 916 episode is ready and will be released in an hours time no 3 week wait his time!... Enjoy :)

Really happy with the way the bronze has turned out, also is it just me or does the teal of my gloves go really well with Ducati bronze? lol

Pics from a few days ago, the frame and wheels certainly don't look this nasty anymore, in fact they look gorgeous! but i wont ruin the end result for you ;) the pic of the wheel reminds me of the dilemma i faced, paint the whole wheel and keep it OEM or do i paint the centers and polish the lips?...

I chose to keep it original. 

New video coming out in  a few days if i dont get held up.

It's out!

2 days of beating the absolute sh*t out of this pivot bolt! I won in the end! lol.  You can see the areas of corrosion i was talking about in my last update. 

I was afraid of this happening!

Hey Guy's i  just want to apologize for being so quiet on here and for the lack of updates recently.  After finally getting the ATC restoration done and the Subaru completed apart from its final tuning and with all the other jobs and commitments i had on my plate i just needed a week to myself to recharge and get my head back in a good place to tackle the Ducati restoration. 

I really hope you dont think im ungrateful for your help and support as nothing could be further ...

I Just Cant Resist it!

I genuinely could listen to this thing rumbling all day long! 😍  I think im starting to spot a personality trait in my self and i think its that i can only own vehicles with very distinct engine notes, this and my ever growing fleet of Ducati's are prime examples of that haha. 

George is back in the workshop!

OH YEAH!!!

Don't worry you aren't imagining this post it's real! The ATC is FINALLY done dusted and been out for a little drive and i couldn't believe it the rain actually stopped that day aswell things are looking up lol 

I just need to finish editing the episode and then i can release it. Sunday at 3PM UK time is what im aiming for. I really hope you will enjoy it, it really has been a battle to restore this one as you all know.

The engine is in and i have the first signs of life... ok its just the plug firing but after such a long time in a million bits thats a good sign especially for my rebuilt wiring loom :)

Hey Guys always nice to see you all. As promised here is a little update video of what I've been getting upto and what's coming up as well as the first look at the Ducati 916 ;) 

She's looking very mean... and i love it!

The storms are closing in and i can hear the rumble of thunder! Or maybe its the rumble of a  seriously angry flat four and its new exhaust hitting the open road for the first time in 6 years! 😍 

Video coming out in a few days and then we can move onto all the other projects i have planned :) I also apologize for the lack of content this month but as you all know in the world of restoration things can go bad very quickly.

Well things just got a little more interesting

So i was chatting with a friend the other week about how im planning on buying a MK2 Escort to restore and do an engine conversion etc and it turns out that he has decided to buy one aswell. It is arriving in the next few days and he is super keen on having me do the work on it to get it ready to hit the road, Im obviously very keen to work on his car as it will be a good learning experience for when i find one for myself, The question is would you guys like to see some videos of me fixing hi...

Clean and Mean!

Now that the Scooby is clean and shiny again i just couldn't resist giving you guys a glimpse of it too ;) It also turns out that it doesn't need a respray,under all that grime the paintwork was still pretty respectable and now that its been buffed and waxed its as good as new :)

Well as most of you guessed the mystery bike is a Ducati :) But now the question is what model?
