Mermaid Enamel pin colors

Thank you guys so much for your votes! Here are the 3 most popular ones, with a few slight adjustments for pantone colors. I've still yet to check the colors in a pantone books, which I plan to do soon. I'm mostly worried about how the skin tones will come out, so lots of checking will have to be done.

I'm undecided at the moment if I'd like to do gold plating or keep the metal black. I think the black plating would suit my art a little better, what do you guys think?  :)

I decided to go ahead and call this finished instead of putting more hours into it. I'm not super happy with it, but I felt it was a good stopping point. Perhaps I'll try again someday!

Patreon Sketch Request form!

One of the changes I had spoke about making a while back was the removal of the raffle. I hate to discontinue it, but I've been skirting around Patreon rules for a while with it. They're technically against ToS, and not only that, I've gotten a bit behind on them due to just plain being busy and working a lot. My apologies guys, I feel bad I'm not able to get to everyone. :(

I'm still planning on making more enamel pins in the future, and I'd like you guys to help me with some color choices! (you can vote for more than one!)

Since they'll all be using the same mold, I can have multiple color variations. So I may pick more than one to have made. :)

Ideally I'd like to have a bit more skin color options as well, but I really need to pick up a pantone book to study in person and match so...

I've been a bit stuck on what I wanted to do for this month's print - but after doing some world quests involving some fel harpies.. well. Damn. They're pretty cool looking! I've been wanting to paint another harpy for a while, sort of revisit the last one I painted for you guys a year and half ago. :D

Some of these are a little more refined than others, but I'm slowly chugging away! I'm actually almost finished with one of them, but I decided to just post the sketch for now. I'll make another update soon with the WIPs and final image when I'm done. Should be later today or tomorrow. :)

Undead Female warmup

I normally paint in Paint Tool Sai.. so I'm a bit rusty with Photoshop. I decided to do a lil' warmup today in PS though to play with a couple brushes. maybe 15-20 minutes total? Its pretty stylized, but I had fun with it. :) Going back, I'd probably focus on the hair a bit more, adjust some things with liquify, and put in more actual texture on the skin.

Honestly, for all the smack Paint Tool Sai gets, its simple interface and ease of use keeps me coming back. Photoshop is pretty much industr...

Sleepy Ysera 2.0

I sort of borrowed the Ysera for Ghost's sketch commission, but here's the digital version! I'll be making her into charms and replacing the old design. :)

I actually managed to record most of this, so I'll be uploading a video soon when I get a moment to edit it.

Charm/Keychain ideas!

I'm currently working with a new acrylic charm supplier, which is much, much cheaper than my current one.  So as I wait for my sample order to arrive, I'm here doodling up new charm designs. :)

Since I sold out of my Ysera keychains, I've had a surprising amount of people ask me if I was going to restock them. Sadly I don't think I plan on doing so, since I wasn't very fond of the artwork for it. As you can see though, I'm definitely planning to make another version! :>

#mermay watercolor tests

I recently bought a set of Shinhan watercolors  and finally got a chance to test them out properly! I'm a bit rusty with watercolors, and while these aren't the best in terms of quality, I think they did alright! Its a very budget brand, but you honestly can't beat the price for this kind of quality. I'm pretty happy with these. 

Other tools used were Sepia and Sakura Pink Copic liners, Stabilo point 88 markers, and a sakura...

Daily sketches 052317

A few little late night sketches. Still trying to figure out how I want to draw my druid in a more easy format and comic style. I'm definitely settling on a style for her, but keeping everything consistent and on model is something I need to work on. 

Most of the expressions are a bit out of character for her, since in her current timeline, she's pretty melancholy and only really expresses anger and indifference. I'd love to do a mini comic eventually with a story of her origins eventuall...

Lucio update!

I was a little frustrated on how my original Lucio turned out, so I made some revisions and I've reworked him! I'm much happier with the new version, and I think this one will work much better for stickers/merch. :)

I decided to scrap the previous mermaid painting and try something else! Hopefully I'll get this done by today or tomorrow. :)

Thank you all for another month of support here on Patreon! Things have been a tad slow around here, so I apologise. Working a regular job, Etsy, and trying to get more art done lately is a daunting task. Its my hope that I'll be able to go back down to part time with my day job like I did in 2015, so I can spend more time on art and perks for you guys. :)
