December Sketches

December's been a wild ride! I have been working feverishly to finish the last few commissions on my list... After which I will not be taking any more commissions for a while. I plan to focus entirely on Patreon, and some personal projects I have been dying to work on for a few years now. Since I will not be taking any more commissions, December should be the last month where I am thwarted from achieving a regular patreon posting schedule. I am looking forward to that!

Special Addition! Cooler color alternate version

Color Pinup (October, Week 4)

Finally, October's last artwork is done! I suppose that means I have to commit to a name, like I promised. 

So, I introduce to you, Ellie! 

Ellie the... elven archer... Hmmmm... 

Oh man, that's kind of corny...  It's hard to commit to a name when I have been calling her "elven archer" for about 2 years! But that's not gonna fly, so perhaps "Ellie the hunter/ranger", or "Ellie the wilderness guide" are better suited titles for her.

Pinup Sketch (October, Week 4)

Ok, here's the lines for the final image for October! Looks like our pointy eared explorer is enjoying some late night candy, no doubt purchased from the shop from earlier. I am thinking of going with some cold light from the moon on her right, and a warm light from a lantern on her left. Let me know what you think!

Color Pinup (November, Week 4)

Ok, with this, all of November's art is done! I'll be sending the high resolution files after November pledges have processed. 

Now I will be tackling the last image that is due for October's art pack, so I can send those around the same time I send off November's. I am looking forward to sharing the high resolution files, with you all!

October's Rewards

This is just an update on October's rewards, and why they haven't been sent, yet.

As I am sure you can tell, October's reward set has been a much higher detailed set of drawings than what I usually post as Patreon exclusives. Color Pinup (November, Week 1)

What do you think of the first pinup for November? Wet shirts are always interesting to draw, though I am sure she's got some choice words for her predicament, at this moment. 

I still have one more Elven Archer scene to do for October, but I felt like it'd be a good idea to catch up on November too, so I spent the day on this. It was nice to get one started and done in a single day, especially after that candy shoppe scene! XD

Pinup Sketch (November, Week 1)

This is for the November Art pack. I have one more Elven Archer scene to do for October, but since I also need to make progress on November's art pack, I decided to do this fun but simple pinup to make progress on that as well. I'll keep working on the final Elven Archer scene for October, but in the meantime, have a schoolgirl that is a bit miffed about the rain. Colors are done and on the way!

Colored Pinup (October, Week 3)

FINALLY DONE!

Man, that pic was an endulgence, on my part. It took quite a while, and I learned SOO much. I feel much more comfortable in doing such highly detailed scenes, and I even see how I could do some things better and faster. 

Sorry for how long it took to finish, and I hope the wait was worth it! I have one more pic to finish before I send off October's rewards, but it will be much simpler, but hopefully no less cool. :)

Oh man, the lines for this one took a while... The characters are a whole extra layer folder above the background, which means that there's drawn background items behind them, too. I decided to do that in case I wanted to use this background again for anything else (I've done that with all the backgrounds, for October's works). I also tried to give the lady on the right(possibly the store clerk?) a slightly different face structure, specifically in her nose. Hard to see at this resolution, but i...

October's drawings are all so big and detailed that they are taking a while to finish, but they should be done by the end of the weekend.  Then I will be working on a set of sexy pinups for November's rewards. :)

Colored Pinup (October, week 2)

Here's the colors! Phew, these are taking a lot of my time, but damn, I love doing these! Let me know what you think of these! I know they aren't the sexy pinups that you are used to, but I thought it'd be a fun change of pace for a bit. And for those of you who prefer the sexy pinups, don't worry! There's more where that came from. :)

High resolution files will be sent out after pledges for October are processed, which is usually the 5th of the next month at the latest.

Here's the next image for the set! I decided to go ahead and give it a more autumn theme, this time around. Pumpkins, crows, and black cats! I gave "Elven Archer" a slightly different hairstyle. I like this one more! Oh, and I will reveal her name at the end of October, so this should be the last  month that she is referred to as "Elven Archer". 

Anyways, I'll be coloring this up soon, and I'll share it when it's done!

Coloring raining weather was a bit tricky! I went with a more blue, and then went back to a more natural tone... In the end, looking at references of rainy forests helped me figure out the colors. :)

Elven Archer's Name

So, I think the reason it has taken me so long to come up with a name for Elven Archer is because I already have a name I really want to give her... But I am worried it's too close to Lin, my elven barmaid. 

The name I had in mind is Lena. 

It's different, but still a bit similar. For some reason, that name just really suits her, to me, and has since I first drew her. This has made it difficult to move past it, so I have sort of just put off naming her until I can come ...

I wanted to have this out on Sunday evening, but that didn't happen. XD

Well, a couple of you showed interest in seeing "Elven Archer" (man, I really need a name for her!), so here she is! This month will be dedicated to her, with a series of scenic shots like this. Maybe a bit less "tits and ass" sexy than usual (lol), but hey, maybe it's sexy in a different way. ;)
