This is the "Bible" for how magic works in the world of the Ten Kingdoms. I actually wrote a good chunk of it before I started writing the story because I wanted a hard magic system with defined rules about what it could and couldn't do. I personally think it's much more interesting when magic has defined rules and definite limits.

I made this picture of the Argo years ago because I needed to see what it looked like to properly describe it. However, remember that the "real" Argo is much more sleek and much less blocky. This is what I had in mind for the "stylized dragon" that functions as Lord Delmar's sigil. It's what's on all his flags, his soldier's surcoats, and of course he has this sigil on himself too.
