Very rarely I get as methodical with my process as I got here, so you could actually see how I'm blocking out my shapes and shadows before filling everything with black.

Almost a year after first one, I had a pleasure of completing this "trilogy" of all three issues of Slavic Nihilism for the same client, and in the process got mildly depressed because I still have no idea how Nihilism #4 should look - or even when it will actually be out.
Maybe I should go ahead and commission someone to do cover for it, so it pushes myself to complete my own material faster?

I'm finally ready to enact the promised changes sometimes this/next week, but first, I wanted to run them by you guys one more time. As usually with changes in tiers, the old ones will stay active until the last patron leaves them, but they will be invisible on the main page to any of new patrons.
(And even if you miss this post completely, I'm going to contact all of higher tier patrons directly, too!)

I really, really hate the ones I'm not showing here, but, no matter how alien to my current style these drawings feel (I actually don't recognize about a third of them AT ALL!) - the ones that are here still look dope, tbh. Especially that one with a swamp monster!

Decided to dig up the folder with this project from 5+ years ago - which, I think, was fully completed on my end, but somehow fell apart, and I haven't heard about the rulebook since then.
I vehemently dislike most of my works from the era, but it's nice to see me doing my own colors even once a year, haha!

MAGNUM OPOSSUM sketches (extras)
We're more or less done with the best of my sketches done for the first print run of 100 copies of the artbook (here I posted something like... 75 of them, I think?), so this time, the remaining portion of Magnum Opossum sketches is interspersed with smaller goodies from Slavic Nihilism bundles (which spiked in sales this winter, too, so I need to arrange some reprints again - faster than I get to finally print issue #4!)

Proper reflection on 2020? Alrighty.
1) This year "Protector" was released. All five issues + TPB of it, and even the pandemic could not kill it - although many other non-Corona factors had tried, and successfully contributed to the increase in gray hair for the entire team - up to the forced title change to "First Knife" just a week before our TPB was sent to print. The new title turned out great, but I don't know how we got through it at all!

I think this is gonna be the last Slavic Nihilist post of 2020? I have another 4 pages of "Yesaul" to show (on top of two of Artyom Doomov's pages), but I want everyone who was interested in getting the book in print to be able to read it there first. So, in January, we're returning to the regular Slavic Nihilism broadcasting, with art from "Congregation" and - yes, finally! - third chapter of "Chernobyl".
