The cool thing is - digital inking allows way more of my favorite tricking with separated multilayered lineart. And I'm always down for that.

As I'm working on my short comic about Orthodox Eschatology and 90s Russia, the world around crumbles, and it feels very weird and "prophetic" - in a lazy, unnecessary way. Like I'm trying to do some Important Work here and not just have fun with the shit I love.

At least I'll be scoring some Nostalgia Points for this thang - that is, if we all survive the next few months ( I have a feeling that Russian comics industry won't)

Love this sequence so-so-so much. After nearly 4 years of waiting, getting back to the book and basically drawing both Hesukristos and Mari "in action" - meaning "acting" - for the FIRST time was a ton of fun. Most of the Cyborg poses here are based on bear posture and movement; and Mari is incredibly agitated and animated compared to her silent panicking manoeuvres from #1. Also: insanely anime shit (by my own measures) on the last page!

I very rarely do "skethcbooking". Even more rarely I take pride of what I "sketch". But this book (Anatomy of Hell) is just too damn exciting, and my little notebook feels so pretty filled by dozens and dozens of Slavic demons!
