The "Golden Fish" is a very interesting submarine that I think you will enjoy. It's two shrouded propellers moved and incredible volume of water thrusting this light weight submarine to near torpedo speeds.
If you want to contribute photos to the briefing, I'd love to have them. Please, submit them via Direct message to my Twitter.com/jivturky account.

Notice the two 7 bladed screws. She started her life with 2/5's in 1955 but was continuously improved over her 25 year service life.

Your votes are in and the USS Nautilus will be the next Submarine Briefing. Here is a clip of the keel laying ceremony at Electric Boat Shipyard Groton, CT in 1952

Here is an early Sub Briefing I did on the Kilo class. This is old and may not be as good as my more recent work.

I am working on the Sub Brief now. There is a lot of information to assemble and verify. This one may take a little longer to put together, but I think you will be very pleased with the end product.

From the German U212 lecture I am researching:
I wish we had this in the U.S. Navy when I was active. This is a submarine launched anti-air and anti-surface missile. Helos are no longer a problem.

Something I have been very proud of is the amount of involvement you have in the Sub Briefs I create. Some of our Community have offered rare photos and reliable sources for my Sub Briefs both before and after publishing them. If you have photos or specific reliable information on any Sub Brief, I would like to use it and give you named credit in the Sources page.
The next Brief is U212 German and Italian project. This may spill over into a U214 Sub Brief as well. &nbs...

This design was never built, but was on the drawing board in the 1960's. There is not enough data on this for a Sub Brief, so I thought I would just share it with you here.
