Tayfun and I go deep, very deep into both the Freedom class and Independence class LCS program. While plagued with mismanagement, unrealistic performance expectation and straight up industrial greed, the core mission of the Littoral Combat is served on both platforms. Why are there two radically different approaches to the LCS? This month, you will find out.
