Zeke's Exit, a Lil Experiment, & a Poll Update

Hey buds. The past couple of days have been pretty busy with discussions and sprite updating, so let's get to it.


1. Zeke has a new animation for leaving.


Zeke is a very no-nonsense kinda guy, so it makes sense he wouldn't wanna stick around to chat with people he very clearly doesn't like one bit. So now after he gives Dab his ticket, he leaves. In addition, a few of his other frames have been updated to work better with the framing of the cutscene.

Zeke Time

Inventory, Whiskey, and a Lil Chat

Hey folks, while I've been waiting for the rest of the assets, I redid some of the inventory coding as well as some of the coding for Andy's whiskey.

Inventory spacing has been changed to accommodate a large number of items, and you also can no longer swap characters with the inventory open, which caused some issues during testing.

Tweaked Cutscenes, Song Work, and Lots o Testing

About The Demo

Hey guys, we're at a bit of a crossroads here.

While I've been keeping up with my part of Zap and Andy despite the pandemic making everyone's lives more difficult, there's no guarantee the same will be true of the other three people working on Zap and Andy. Trying to not get sick is hard enough, I don't wanna impose harsh deadlines on folks when they're stressed as is.

Formal Introduction of Zeke + Other things

What's Left

I thought it would be helpful if I made a list of all the small tasks that need to be done to release the demo. In addition, I'll put about how long I think it'll take to finish them.

Sound effects and TV Noise

Hey folks! Me and Rone the music artist for Zap and Andy have been hard at work making and inserting sound effects and ambiance into the game.

In addition to stuff like the sound of beer pouring, fire burning, and the inflation and pop of the cherub's summon, we've got the sound of tv playing in the background of both the motel office and dab's lair.

Bug Testing, Save Systems, and Horny Levels

Hey guys! I know it's only been a few days, but lots of stuff has happened!

Concerning the Amount of Horny

Text and Dongs for ya

I've spent the last few days really sick, so I didn't get a ton of cutscene work done, but I did finish almost all of the text that's going to be in the demo.

Today I'm gonna be working with Anothermeekone to get the rest out of the way, since its entirely new text, and not in the script. When I'm feeling better, I'll code the cutscenes since they take a lot of mental effort.

I received some huge assets for Dab's lair, the graphics for its security system and the last big piece I needed before the final puzzle. With that and the candle flames in action, I've been heavily focused on the last part, and actually completed the dialog portion of the final puzzle!

A Progress and Coding Overhaul Update

Hoo boy! The past couple of days have been wild! I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday, went to MTG prerelease, and did some HUGE stuff for Zap and Andy!

Normally I'd upload this later, but there's a really bad snowstorm here and I dunno how long I got internet. Thankfully I don't need internet to code though!

Hey guys! I got some big news for you, but first I wanna get to the work I've done.


I'm gonna be working with BC and Meek over the next couple weeks assembling the last two puzzles of the motel, so I took some time and created a skeleton to attach them to, including new rooms. I also coded the sequence for the 4th bad end to prepare for when I get the parts that lead to that event.
