Sex makes it's Cutieworld debut! In a week of Sundays, this story will take the top slot. But now I'm kind of used to having a free page pop up after the Sunday page, as a sort of dessert. Maybe I could start running the old Teeka pages after the new Program Switch ones?

A new Sunday story begins! Here we introduce our protagonists. Can't call 'em heroes, because a hero would never leave a woman half-serviced.

Saturday Sample: The Genre Control.

This is another odd one. I've got the whole story thumbnailed out, as you see a sample of above. I roughed out a bunch of these back during my concentration camp stay. Not much else to do, there (long story for later).

     I thought the story was funny enough to justify paying an old cartoonist friend to draw it up proper. What the heck - he needed the money.  And at the time, I had a few dollars to spare.

   But after he accepted payment, said friend never...

What would introducing sex as a new thing be like? For some reason, I'm reminded of the line from National Lampoon's "Foreigners Around the World" article: "The Poles did not discover sexual intercourse until the 15th century, having previously reproduced by raiding warthog litters".

   But yes, the mischief you could get into with sex as a "new invention" would be mind-boggling.

OK, "Massive Mice" is winding to a close. Most likely I'll replace it in the Sunday slot with "Punishment by horse-cock", a story I already have laid out and partially drawn. Yes, it's gleeful porn. How'd you guess so fast?

   But it occurred to me that I have a number of these half-drawn stories. And I'll need something to replace Program Switch, once THAT story comes to a close.

   So I think I'll post story samples here every Saturday. Then, when time comes to star...

   Anyway, today I met up with the executor of Susan's estate. She was happy to leave Katie with me. So now I'm a dog owner.  Hope I'm up to the responsibility....

Late again! At least it's still morning. Today's excuse is that I was helping the wife with yardwork, hauling away wheelbarrowloads of unwanted plants. And while I was wheelbarrow-piloting anyway, I went and salvaged a nice set of metal shelves that someone had tossed out. Well, not so much nice as rusty. But it's quality of being free for the taking made up for any cosmetic defects.

Oh crap! It's Wednesday, isn't it? Yeah, I usually post around 9 in the morning, not evening. But this has been a crunchy day. A neighbor and friend of mine died this morning, and I've been trying to secure her dog's (a sweet lil' pitbull I've been walking near daily for the last few months) future. Might end up adopting the ol' mutt.

    Enjoy life while you can, good people. You never know when your time will run out.
