The To-do List, part 139.

Pamela Greenbriar's body was found seven months later, when unit twelve was being prepared for another renter. This came as a terrible blow to her husband and children, who until then had been desperately clinging to the hope she would return alive.

Hmm. It's seldom a good sign when someone holding you at gunpoint starts volunteering intimate details about themselves.

Here endeth chapter 3. I have chapter 4 about half done. Should I keep going with this tale, or would my Patrons prefer something else for Sunday dessert?

Whoop! I wonder what a Minotaur in a Karno Sunday story wants from a nude lady?

Basic misunderstanding.

After an atrocious murder (often mass-murder), I sometimes hear gun-control advocates lament "What will it take to get Americans to disarm?!" I believe this reflects a misunderstanding of basic human nature.

When you harangue a person with the notion that crazed killers are about, and that they and/or their children could be murdered at any time? Their first thought is NOT gonna be "Oh, I better get rid of my guns, so I can't defend myself with armed force". No: When you present a pe...

How quickly can Jan's armor reboot?

The To-do List, part 135.

Jan is really, really glad she armored up more after the encounter with Doublewide Douglas' mercenaries. But no armor is impenetrable, if you pour enough ordnance into it.

The Ace of Hearts Thing.

So I was picking through my old stuff for something to post on Saturday. And then, pretty much on pure impulse, I blew the day on drawing this page because I damn well felt like it. It's been WAY too long since I did something random just for the fun of it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Again, no time for more Icelandic History, so another inadequate Saturday substitute must be found. I need to find a way to actually add more hours to the day, or hire a skilled assistant. I wonder which is cheaper?

Max Solomon's debut!

Sigh....once again, I have had no time to work on the Icelandic History comic, so a substitute page must be found:

Before Stan Sakai struck gold with Usagi Yoyimbo, he was drawing a different rabbit hero, one Nilson Groundthumper. A contest was announced where readers were invited to guess just what kind of critter Nilson's sidekick, Hermy was. The above is my entry to this contest. I think it won, too!

Missed a day, there. Hadda take a day off from comic-ing to work on other stuff. Damn, I wish I was rich enough to hire servants. Or at least well-off enough so I don't have to take on more work than I can handle, just to stay (barely) ahead of the household bills.

Yeah, I'm kind of sneaking a Happy Jack tale into the Mink's storyline, but this yarn has been knocking at the gates for awhile now, so drawing it seems to be the best way to get it to shuddup. Seems my Muse is a pushy broad.

I still haven't been able to dig out time to work on more Icelandic History pages. In fact, my time is even more constricted, what with the Koch book and translating the Why Union book to Spanish. But I'm not giving up!

....Meanwhile, another blast from the past. Man, the 90's were a different era.

Sorry to be so late posting this - I just printed up a pile of the Collected Reacher ("Meat on her Bones" and "The Farmed Boys") and illustrated a couple of banners for a downtown protest. I also took on redrawing the "Why Union" booklet in Spanish, and the Koch book is still demanding I finish it. Oh, and I need to carve out time for more chapters of The Cartoon History of Iceland.

But I like good ol' Minkie, so this got done.
