To me, saying "I love you" to someone is a promise - a heavy-duty one. I can understand Herman's desire to keep Anna "safe", but I can also see Anna's commitment to standing by her man. She knew what it could mean when she plighted her troth to a violence-haunted revolutionary.

OK, from the overwhelming response it got, I've decided to draw the Wolf-Mare trilogy as the next Sunday story. But since I'm currently up to my nostrils in other work, it's going to take me a week or two to get 'em whomped up.

    So to keep y'all happy in the meanwhile, here's a naughty little story I made previously. Like, pre-computer-era previously.

This Sunday's suggestion for a story to be fleshed out is three stories - in the first one Selma and her fellow frisky mares take shameless sexual advantage of the slim young wolf, Harri. In the second story, Harri and his wolf-pack return the favor. In the third tale, Selma is so pleased with the experience, she starts touting it to her friends as a cure for depression.

Ah what the heck, let's do the SuperCon story. It's a freewheeling tale, packed with cheap gags....and that's the kinda story I want to be doing in these tense and unfunny times. Let's not forget we're all doing this for entertainment!

....And that wraps up that intro tale. I think I thumbnailed out another story, where Scotman and Icelad go to SuperCon, while the fuss about them stopping a supervillain with a cannon dies down.

    They end up having some trouble with a super-villain fanboy - which is kind of fair, as one could argue that S&I are fanboy superheroes. But mostly, the tale is a gentle mockery of comic-cons and the assorted super-goobers I so loved.
