He paid $40 for this WORKING Quiz-o-matic machine which appears to be at least 50 years old. Lights up. Master control switchboard. 10 individual buzzers. No more guessing on who rang in first. We're going to test this baby out soon!!!

We set up some time-lapse angles for the construction and tear down of this year's Halloween set. Nothing ultra exciting. My only regret is not starting the time-lapse when I came to clean up RIGHT after the shoot. You see, we tore down the set just a few days ago, but the day after the shoot I had to go and clean up the beer bottles, cans, popcorn all over the floor, cords, etc etc... it was a hot mess and just ready for the mice to come in and eat up all the shit all over the floor. Here's a look at the three movies we watched for this year's Halloween episode!

Propstore Unboxing! NEW THING!

Finally! It showed up a week or so ago, but Jay and I have been editing we've finally had the chance to open this up! This is THE (possibly the only? Not sure, want to find out) USS Defiant helm control station LCARS panel. Belonged to Michael and Denise Okuda. I think they drove their car over it or dropped it because it's cracked in half. Even though I joke around dropping the box etc, the panel was cracked at auction. So it shall be restored to it's final glory!!!!!

Pretty much the last thing we shoot with almost every Best of the Worst episode is the "beauty shots" of the VHS tapes or DVDs. We usually just do that in front of a white backdrop but for the Halloween episodes, we like to incorporate the set. We only use these sets once, so might as well get the most out of them! We'll post a sneak peek image of the movies we watched tomorrow and then the episode will be out this weekend.

Hello, friends. Lots of shooting to commence this week! We've been busy building our Halloween episode set. I see Jay posted some in progress photos. Rich's Clown looks amazing. Do we post that or do you want to wait for the episode? I'm not sure sometimes if I'm spoiling something or not? Either way, new review coming up, and much much more... maybe a special guest ? I'm not sure though.

Halloween BOTW set update 2 - F'n Hoe

We needed big metal-looking marquee letters for this Halloween set and buying actual hand-made metal ones from a place like Etsy (which is what we did for the BOTW letters) just isn't practical for a one-time use set so we went with these foam board ones that you can find from a million different sellers online. They're a gigantic pain in the ass to assemble, but the hot glue that holds them together ended up looking like metal welding marks once they were painted. Not bad!
