Collected Fan Art!

After entirely too long, I finally collected together a bunch of my fan art ("a bunch" is a relative term :)  and whipped up a quick and kind of cheesy Fan Art Page!

It's not complete yet, I know there's a few other bits somewhere in the recesses of my old hard drives- including a congratulations sketch from TWB's first anniversary (!) and one from Scotty Arsenault.

Shot a quick test video of using my recently-rebuilt turret lathe for it's first paying job. No narration, captions, editing or other embellishments, I just wanted to show the thing in motion.

TWB Guest Week!

WIP O' The Week

Work-In-Progress. :)

I've had a bit of a day, and really needed to unwind a bit. Doodling is cheaper than drywall repair and knuckle bandages. :D

So I took that Miki sketch from a week or two ago, and cleaned it up- if you can call "almost completely redrawing it", 'cleaning up. :) Tried to work on the plod a little more, filled out the chest and butt, fluffed up her tail and started some proper coloring.

I'll try and finish 'er up this weekend, but...

An Announcement of Error:

Got a couple of small confessions to make:

The first one is that printing is on hold for the moment, although I only have eight outstanding orders left. I'd stocked up on plenty of materials for the run- thankfully- but the one part I didn't get a spare of, is of course the one that wore out. (It's a 'transfer unit' that takes the images from the separate color units and combines them to be actually printed.)

One of my favorite book sketches from this go-'round. Did two or three versions of this, and I think the first one came out the best.

Only thing was, I could never get 'er feet to capture the right kind of tired plod to the feet. Might have to try redrawing it for a finished pin-up.

Next sketch-idea theme: Give me a scene!

That is, give me a scene from a famous movie, and I'll recreate it with TWB characters.

BUT... and here's the kicker... it has to be from a comedy. :D

So no "paint me like your French girls" or Kenobi-vs.-Vader. :)

I reserve the right to ignore suggestions from movies I've either never heard of, haven't seen, or don't like. (I hate, for example, the "Scary Movie" series, almost...

Jinx'd

Just a quick scribble for Pete, who noted we haven't seen Jinx in a while. Yeah, it's just a quick-and-dirty scribble, but time is, as always, a bit short. I'd still like to finish this up, and may do that later this week.

Oh, and I re-fixed the strip I fixed yesterday. :) The uploader then re-uploaded the old strip, restoring the typo. :)

Takin' a skip day...

Today was a bit busy... which is like saying the Titanic is both a bit large and a bit damp... and I just didn't have time to draw anything... Or even properly finish the comic. :)

This is the original line art for a promotional image for one of my old T-shirt runs. Metadata says it was 2006. I think I finished it at some point... I should try re-finishing it.

Reader Howie suggested we see Doc mowing the lawn. Somehow I suspect he didn't want to just see Doc with a typical Toro or weedwacker.

Flamethrowers? Only if you don't have an imagination and a supply of old B-17 parts. :)

The Jackal

Drawing #1. Swiftdraw mentioned the Jackal, and yeah, we haven't seen him since the B&W days, and that's been a while.

I forget where I got the original idea for him, but always liked the design.  I know the typical "Anubis" type jackal is supposed to have a thin whippet/greyhound type tail, but I didn't know that when I first drew him, so now he has a fluffy tail. :)
