This was originally drawn June 20th, 2017! I can't remember the context, but it was drawn for Slaughterotters when I was doing commissions for him around this time. I think he had to delay his commission slightly so I drew this to cheer him up? That's my guess haha.

This was originally my Halloween post for 2015! I liked to imagine that Redwall didn't necessarily have a Halloween, but a day where some adults in the abbey (perhaps ones more predisposed to acting) dressed up as historical figures (both good and bad) and gave out treats as they taught about the history of whoever they were dressed up as. This was originally drawn back in September of 2016, shortly after the Rio Olympics! It was meant to poke fun at the nature of boxing judges being bought out and rigging matches, which unfortunately the Olympics has a history of. Rio was no exception. ^^;

This commission had two options: a blurry background, and a clear one. I can't remember if I gave The-Black-Scribe both options to choose from or not, but in the end, the clear one was chosen, and I still think that was the right choice. I treated the hats just like I would a character in respect to building them up, and then checked with the finished model to make sure they were compatible and wouldn't overlap in any weird ways. For example, the fringe poking out from under the cowboy hat is just empty space, but after adding it to the official model, I realized it wasn't lining up properly, and I could see his other ear through it. So, I had to move the fringe further to the right to look natural. ^^;

While I did draw his hands with him here, they'll be a separate image in the end! Why? So they can be swapped out (so he could be holding other things besides a controller), and so the animation for them doesn't reset every time he speaks. It'll look way more natural that way. :3

Check it out - my first PNGTuber commission! I set this up similarly to the one I made for myself, although better organized since I knew what I needed to do this time. ^^;
Also, unlike for my personal one, I drew hats directly onto the sketches instead of doing quick mock ups. The hats were a bit of a challenge because of the giant ears Scott has. That's something I took for granted with my otter, haha.

Converting expressions with sketchy linework into stickers is a bit tricky because the layer style I use to add the white outline can go a bit haywire. Even 1% of opacity counts as a pixel that the white stroke needs to wrap around, so these required a bit of cleanup!

There's no thumbnail WIP for this page because it got split into two pages, page 69 and page 70. I'll post it with page 70's WIPs next time!
The dialogue was a bit of a struggle on this page. Nes had to say something, but it never felt quite right. Either he was repeating something that's already been said, saying something obvious, or it didn't feel natural. What these WIPs don't capture is all the rewriting I did in the text tool instead of in the sketch.
