The Italian town of Brembate di Sopra is home to a quiet, close-knit community, and like the other local youths, 13-year-old Yara Gambirasio felt safe navigating the streets alone. On November 26 2010, Yara left the town’s sports centre and didn’t hesitate to walk the 700-metre journey home by herself. However, when she failed to arrive, it turned out the streets of Brembate di Sopra weren’t as safe as everyone thought...

Hello all,
Here is the news video to watch after listening to case 46. People have asked why we didn't name Mr Smith? Well there is a court supression order. We couldnt find anything to suggest that supression order has been lifted.
For those not in Australia, channel 7 is a major nation wide media outlet. I have no idea how they were able to name him. But a court supression order isn't something I really want to play around with. Chanel 7 have billions of dollars and a lot of lawy...

In the 18 month period between May 1980 and October 1981, six women went missing from the Frankston and Tynong North areas in Melbourne’s south-east. The victims – Bertha Miller, Catherine Headland, Ann-Marie Sargent, Narumol Stephenson, Allison Rooke and Joy Summers – were later found murdered and dumped in remote scrubland. Obvious efforts had been made by the offender to prevent the victims from being identified.

2017-02-17 11:48:32 +0000 UTC View PostHi, everyone!
We wanted to ask you how do you feel about Casefile mini-series.
So a big case presented in 2 or 3 parts. Yorkshire Ripper was hugely popular last year, and we may or may not have another one in the making. It takes a lot of work and research to produce a multi-episode case, but we were wondering how do you feel about it.
Do you prefer one-episode, one case?
Or a miniseries from time to time?

2017-02-10 19:35:24 +0000 UTC View PostDo you prefer unsolved cases or solved ones as Casefile episode?
It's always a dilemma when we select a case for a new episode.
On the one hand, it's good to bring awareness to unsolved cases, on the other hand, solved crimes give you a sense of completeness.
What are your thoughts?
Hi, everyone!

We are thinking of running another Tee-Spring campaign, maybe around March. This time it would be much simpler design, just a logo or few words. What do you think about Casefile t-shirts? Good idea or bad?
Take a poll and if you have any other suggestions, let us know in the comments!
Thanks!
