Hello, everyone! It's been a little while since I've posted a "From The Vault" piece, but I stumbled across this old image yesterday and thought it would be fun to re-share. This was a commission from 2015, in which the client requested I recreate the famous Jim Lee illustration from "Batman: Hush" in which Batman and Catwoman kiss. I had a lot of fun with it, and am still pretty proud of it. I hope you enjoy it, too!

Trying to nail down how to explain thumbnails is a lot trickier than I thought, since for me it tends to involve a lot of concurrent trains of though, and it's quite hard to figure out which one is arriving at the station first, so to speak. Kirby 100

Sketchbook Sunday #2

As some of you may know, since I was fairly vocal about it, I recently read through the Harry Potter series for the first time (I had seen the movies as they came out, to answer a question I get a lot when discussing this). Without gushing too much about how much I enjoyed the series, it was definitely enough to fill me with an uncontrollable urge to put pen to paper and scribble out some doodles of Harry himself.
