8/24/17 and Countdown 6

Hi again people. Today I managed to do all of the persona dialogue I needed to do for the update. So that's settled. I actually have one more I forgot to do for the tutorial, but I should be able to clear that one out too. I only have 1 more character to do and 1 more sidequest and I can get to work on the last system I'll need to consider this update playable. 8/23/17 Countdown 7 and Secret

I'd recommend watching the video first.

Yes, the secret is that the Sumaki Stone now has a built in A.I. which will play a role in the journey of the player by sorting through and analyzing data, keeping track of events, storing stats, and much more. Their personality is a little... lacking, and they even seem to be outright broken in some ways! But perhaps that can be fixed. 

The Sumaki Stone will be an usable item now instead of just an excuse to have a visual element to the spank...

Good news doods. I think I have a solution to the problem I was working on from last post about not being able to customize the spanking scenes. Before, there were certain checks that would run which would change the scene no matter what when the time came. These checked things like how much damage was done, how much you cried, how many turns went by, how much you struggled, and more. Still working on the game, I've recently finished all of the varying branches of the main quest, which took a lot longer than I would have liked. While doing so, I ran into some problems with the PENPEN event which handles the scenes where the player is spanked. So I've been doing more stuff with the main quest and interactive spanking bits and it turns out... pretty much everything is working okay. I was really surprised about that, but it seems like the SORE event can be started and stopped pretty easily without much confusion or conflicts.  Hi people. I've taken a new route in working with the text libraries. Instead of doing each persona at a time, I'm just going through the entire thing all at once. This way once it's done, I can focus purely on the "game" part of the development. It's still a slow road, but I'm making progress. I finished my first persona and have done some work on the story event of Tungsten Town. I'm taking this chance to flesh out the story a characters a little more, while also keeping it brief as can be. While working on this, I realized how beneficial it was for me to set up the game in the way I did, with it being an anthology of stories over many areas. This way, the story rarely gets stale and the player gets to see new locations and characters often.

I just wanted to drop by to say that after some of the work I've done so far, I think the deadline is still reasonable. The persona text libraries vary in complexity, so some take longer than others and it makes it hard to judge how much progress you've made as a whole. Well, the '?' is there because there's some testing I still have to do of it, but from the small tests I've done along the way show that it should go fine. Yeah, the tutorial I was working on was a total bust. You know the menus that appear when you want to select an action when giving a spanking? For some reason text will NOT show up with those present, which makes the tutorials more confusing then they are explanatory. The only alternative I could think of would be the gab windows, but they are very clunky and not at all suited for a rigged scene like a tutorial.
