It's been 3 years since we've attempted to write a new show, and I've forgotten how quickly we need to turn around these weekly filmed sketches. We basically lose half a day, which when we only spend two days.. is well.. significant. That said, we can't help but remain ourselves, which is, agonize over every single line right up until the time we have to shoot, and then cram the filming into 45 mins... will we every learn?

We've barely had an afternoon at home after Cork, and we're off to the airport. Now that everything is packed, goodbyes are done and all the paperwork is ready and in place, the excitement and giddiness starts. Just the feeling of being on a plane going anywhere is enough right now. I'm trying to get Hog giddy. The key is, if I can set him off, then he'll be messing for hours. There is something fun about trying to film a tonne of sketches in the same week. We usually do our best stuff when our backs are against the wall, with rigid deadlines. Our hair tends to get a little greyer too, but that's for another dye, I mean day. The previous few weeks have had a similar tinge to them.. conversations going something like this
"okay, what scripts do people have?"
- "I have one that's really simple, we could film it in a few hours, no edit"
