Ugh, I know it's been forever.  Just… for the longest time, nothing I wrote for the middle of this chapter worked for me.  I think I've got it now, but please let me know if it still seem off.

Regarding this new story—I've pretty much proven that I CAN write a chapter every month, but usually not two chapters of the same story in two months. With the $300 goal having been reached, this is the solution I'd like to try. Oh, uh… huh. It looks like someone just pledged exactly enough to bring us up to the $300 mark o_o. I was actually planning on increasing the goals to account for the roughly 10% fees, but I guess doing that now would be kind of disingenuous. Well, umm, I guess we'll see how this goes. Status

Since we hit the first goal and are still going, I might as well start with the whole 'accountability' thing. Thankfully, I can start with good news: I wrote 957 words today, just shy of my 1k goal, bringing the next chapter up to 6,588/10,000. I'll definitely have it done by Christmas, but I'm going to have to put in a little more work if I'm going to have time for everyone to look it over beforehand.
