[WIP] Getting Beta Models Ready for Public Release

Übel (Frieren: BJE) v0.0.1 Alpha [Radix II]

Reminder: This model is still in the Alpha stage, so it may still be buggy in some areas.

Fern (Frieren: BJE) v0.0.1 Alpha [Radix II]

Sorry for the long wait, but the model is finally ready. I wanted to get this out a lot sooner, but I ran into some complications while working on the model.

This is an Alpha Model, so it is still pretty early in development. The hair isn't rigged yet, and I still need to make a few tweaks to it. I also may replace her bikini outfit at some point, but I'm not too sure.

Update: I wasn't happy with Power's facial expression in the original render, so I redid it. I think this looks a lot better.

Egyptian Goddess Yoruichi 4K Render [Radix I]

After some experimentation, I think I've developed a pretty good process for creating good looking daytime, outdoor renders. I'm really happy with how this render turned out.

Also, if any of you plan to use this outfit for my Yoruichi model, I just want you to know that the Wesekh (metal collar around neck) still needs some future tweaking to deform better when posing the character. Goth Kobeni 4K Render [Radix I]

This new GPU is really amazing. Blender crashing on me used to be a daily occurrence, but now I haven't had any issues since I upgraded. This will definitely speed up my workflow.

I'm still experimenting a bit to find my unique style for my renders, but once I start getting the hang of things, I should be able to post multiple renders in a week fairly easily.

Quick Update

I finally upgraded my GPU. I went from a RTX 2060 KO to a RTX 4060 TI. The biggest change is that this has increased my VRAM from 6gb to 16gb, which is a major difference.

I've already run a view stress tests, and it's such a huge improvement. I used to have very frequent crashes in Blender due to running out of VRAM, but now things are so unbelievable smooth.

For this render, I wanted to get some practice with composition, so I'm actually using an environment. I don't often use environments because my GPU isn't the best, so my Blender crashes pretty often when my scenes get too complex. Yoruichi (Bleach) v0.2 Beta [Radix II]

  • Added Egyptian Outfit

    • The Loincloth is disabled by default because it's not rigged and requires the use of cloth simulations to look good most of the time. So you may want to only use it if you are already familiar with simulating cloth in Blender.

  • Added Egyptian Makeup in the "Makeup" tab of the MustardUI menu

[WIP] Yoruichi Update 2

This update has taken me longer than I was hoping. It took me almost 2 days just to properly rig her earrings because I realized that a normal bone chain wasn't going to cut it for how complex these earrings are. I ended up having to do some research on curve deformers and using bones to manipulate curve control points. I was finally able to get them working properly, so now the rig functions a lot more intuitively.

[WIP] Yoruichi Update

I got this idea for an Egyptian-style outfit that would really match Yoruichi's aesthetic. I'm still doing a bit of experimenting, but I think it's coming along great. There's still a bit more work that needs to be done, but I'm hoping to get this out pretty soon so I can start working on other things.

I also will likely include a bikini outfit in this update, as well as some other, smaller improvements to the model. I hope I can have this all done in the next few days.

[WIP] Makima Generation 2

Sorry about the lack of updates recently. I had been exhausting myself trying to solve some technical issues with the hair shader for this model. I think it's finally starting to come together nicely. I still need to model her braid, but I hope I'm mostly done.

Seiko Ayase (Dandadan) v0.1 Beta [Radix II]

  • Added Stripper Outfit

    • I did something different with this outfit and added a "Pressure" option and a "Hard Nipples" option to this outfit in the MustardUI Outfits tab.

    • The "Pressure" option activates a morph that gives the appearance that the outfit is squeezing against the skin, causing the skin to be pushed out. Right now it only effects the chest and butt. I intend to also add this effect to the thighs in the future.<...
