Race to the Rim is a large project focused on bringing the universe of How to Train your Dragon closer to RimWorld. It’s an effect of countless hours and dedication, sponsored generously by kittentwitch, and inspired by her love for this franchise. Adding 13 new dragons with special properties, kept in vanilla art style, with reasonable balancing and unique resources and gimmicks, this mod should help you immerse yourself in the fantasy setting of befriending dragons and using them to...

Hello hello you beautiful people!
Our love letter christmas present is coming along nicely and I have now started working on the description infographics and the video. So far the video is 15 minutes long and I did my best to explain all the content as quickly as I could - it goes to show how much effort we put into this mods.
Don't get used to it, Classical will be a tiny bit smaller! I promise! Maybe. Or maybe not, maybe we will go wild again. I just can't help myself sometimes....

Have you ever thought about how base game traits become repetitive after a while? Are you tired of seeing pyromaniac or kind pawn over and over again? Are you perhaps considering pyromaniac to be an instant death sentence in your colony? If for any of these questions the answer was ‘aye’, then look no further.
Vanilla Traits Expanded adds 55 new traits, some offering unique new game mechanics, some being quirky and enhancing the storytelling, and some being straight up stat upgrade...

Hello everyone!
Let me give a little bit of a background how the Mechanoid faction works, base-wise.
At the beginning of the game, no mechanoid bases exist. None at all. Zero.
A new event should be added (if using the event system, it should be eventBad, red letter), called Mechanoid ship landed.
Event text (when letter is hovered over/clicked) should be as follows:
"A mechanoid ship belonging to [faction-name-here] has landed not far from your location.

Vanilla Achievements Expanded is a unique, never before seen in RimWorld modding achievement mod, part of the Vanilla Expanded mod series and a framework for other modders.
This mod adds an extensive achievement system, with various different stats being tracked. Players receive a pop up rewarding them for going above and beyond and pushing their boundaries. Players receive achievement points which can not only be shown off, but also can be used to fire several types of pre-existing in-gam...

”A high-tech machine that is barely understood by even the most intellectually inclined colonies. Complete with a series of meshpresses and plasma needles capable of atomically realigning basic materials resulting in new material indistinguishable from synthread. Rather than creating material itself, the machine is configured to modify existing clothing. Must be adjacent to autoloom”

Hey everyone. We have just created a new mechanoid for the Vanilla Factions Expanded - Mechanoids. This mech is an anti-infantry unit, heavily armored mech with a built in flamethrower. It has a chance to explode into a giant fireball if taken down, resulting in even more chaos on the battlefield. We need a name that fits other mechanoids, so I prepared a few and I leave the choice to you!

”A very large machine with many moving parts, able to accept steel, components, and chemfuel forward via belt system and slowly assemble them into basic weaponry. The machine is capable of making rudimentary light arms at a normal quality, although this process is very time and power consuming. Puts off a high amount of heat. Adds a small increase to the chance of power network malfunction. (ZZZ’t)”

Attached hoppers will accept nearby corpses or wood matter, rapidly decompose them, then melt in a singular large vat before dispensing. Puts off a god awful stench that pawns hate and and may cause lung damage if exposed long term unless vented properly”
