I was really impressed with the component quality here. Fantastic miniature detail and sculpt design, great 3D tokens, awesome cardboard punchouts, foil cards for legendary gear, etc. Really well done!

Happy weekend! Here's what I have lined up for now. I decided I'll actually paint The Mother first as I think she'll go quickly :)
Next up I hope to paint the dragon. He's large, but a relatively easy paint scheme. Following that up with The Tyrant of course :) As you might have guessed by now, my "plans" don't always pan out, but that's my best guess.
Who all got HATE? I might get a few extra minis from it to give away ;)
So, as you can see I injured my finger. I slipped and fell down our stairs and my left middle finger cushioned my fall. It's dislocated and in doing so also made a bone chip. My primary care doctor was unable to reset it (boy was that fun when she tried a few times) so I have to keep it wrapped up in this and not moving until Tuesday when I can see the Orthopedic surgeon.
Needless to say, typing this out is slow going. To top it off, the pain meds they gave me made me have a killer hea...

Hey guys! This is going to be more blog of just my recent thoughts but I'll try to call out the important bits as I type this out.

What's on the Desk? Well first thing's first is me building some Kingdom Death Monster minis. These are fantastic quality and the sculpt poses are really cool and add a lot of character - pumped to be able to paint some of these :)

Hey guys! I'm trying out a few new things and wanted your take on them. The first is a new technique! Beyond 2 brush blending, the only technique I haven't tried that I'm aware of is Non Metallic Metal. Above you can see a picture of my second attempt - think this is something I should pursue more and talk about? I think ideally it's useful for painters who paint with a fixed light source as you can now "fix" the lighting on the blade, but it's also just pretty fun to do in general.

Hey guys! Youtube has added a "Premier" tool that allows me to share a launch page that counts down to a video going public. It would have a chat window on the side and a reminder for when the video is about to start (if you have used the bell icon). Hey guys! It's been a lovely couple of days and a lot is going on, so lets get to our you-better-at-least-update-your-Patreon-page-once-a-week-KOA update!
First up, the Earth Dragon. As you well know I've been building up to this, trying to get the word out and let as many people as would like to join my Patreon as they hear about the opportunity. Sorry for the crappy title but it's kind of a crappy update. As you all might be aware from my video a couple months back, my mother-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Tuesday we were informed that her treatment was not working and she has stopped it. We don't know how long but she is very weak at 90 lbs and has many internal problems.
With this in mind I'm driving my family down from Idaho to Oklahoma on Friday so she can see her grandchildren before the end. It's at least a 2 day...
