honestly, who gave tarikuto and naoki the right to be this adorable? they are both shapeshifters, and lately i've been obsessed with drawing them in their respective cat-snake and fox forms. but after doodling the kreacher version of the "no" sketch, i couldn't resist also drawing the humanoid equivalent of the same moment. tricksters gotta trick, but sometimes you have to keep your worse half from getting up to too much mischief, y'know?

from tiny bebe to toddler to child to all grown-up. i didn't mean for this to look like a pokemon evolution chain, but here we are. this is tarikuto in his tube mammal form at different stages of his life. i s2g, every time i draw his shapeshifted self he looks more and more like a ferret, pine marten, or similar weasely creature, so at this point i'm just rolling with it.

thank you to ciyu and toreadorkable for the suggestions that combined into this design prompt! ciyu had suggested two complementary monsters, and at first i was going to use one of the excellent examples they gave. but as i was looking through my excel doc of MOTM design prompts, i saw that toreadorkable had suggested a music theme. out of nowhere, i thought of combining the two prompts into "adagio & allegro."
