ITZY Checkmate Tour

I was certainly curious and had to check out what a tour of theirs would be like but I was pretty disappointed but this shouldn't surprise anyone.

It feels like not only have JYP given up on them but their hands are tied and there's not much they can do to shake the rut they're in.

STRAY KIDS Maniac Tour JAPAN

A MT Olympus Special.

I DID It again!! Of course it wasn't as shocking as the first time yet there were still moments that caught me by surprised and things I didn't notice the first time round.

ANNOYINGLY the Japan edit takes away the energy from sooo many key points, I really doubt anything will outdo the Seoul edit. Also that weird extra brightness they had takes away the richness and deepness of the other colours and that beautiful LED.

This was HIGHLY requested but of course MNET reactions are blocked and I don't post reactions less than 5 mins so it's for PATREONNN!

Heeseung and Jay really had some stand out moments here.

The choreo really is beautiful,it's a shame it wasn't a still cam. Maybe I should've watched a 4k fancam. It's a shame I don't love the song so it's hard to really get in to the choreo, I pray there's one for Lucifer!

TAEYEON Japan Showcase 2018

Fighting for any Taeyeon crumbs where I can get them lol. This is what made me think go my evil poll today btw.

The first opening set wasn't doing it for me but after that I was definitely enjoying myself more.

BTS Yet To Come Concert!

Yet another HIGH ENERGY concert where I fall in love with Jungkook more and more but also Taehyung tried to SNATCH me. He kinda did tbh.

It was super short and quick but it definitely served its purpose. I LOVE how experienced and relaxed they are on he stage, like they could literally do it in their sleep!

My main critique for this concert is the over processing of vocals and excessive autotune on the mics. It takes away so much of the feelings you can get from RAW vocals.

Seeing Jun Han speak SO MUCH was sooo cute. I'm really impressed with him managing to not be shy and actually showing his personality.

Love how much they modified the games to give them some suitable challenges.

THE TALENT!! I can't!!

Another stellar episode where I FINALLY see where the smoke challenge came from. Bada the ICON THAT YOU ARE!

It was nice to see some glimpses of positivity cos goddamn the animosity between the dancers can feel a BIT tooooo icy at times, like where's the camaraderie, literally my favourite thing in life! There's definitely glimpses of it now thank god.

Ningning Mujin Service + Armageddon Recording!

WELL I can't remember what I said specially when I watched Ningning's Begin again performances but I think here I found new things I LOVE about how she sings, especially when it comes to how specific she is technically however I also found new things that made me realise why I'm not as obsessed with her voice as I should be.

Jungkook Seven Dance Practice + Recording Behind!

This man's vocals!! I can't wait for his return because him dabbling in other genres and possibly doing more live raw vocal stuff it'll be very exciting.

There's not much else to say but I was so impressed by his technique and complete command over his entire vocal range!

aespa Armageddon Album Review

I said it in the review but I feel like this is the album I've wanted to hear in K-pop for so long.

It's got the FIRST rating of it's kinda - A * (star).

Not because I was obsessed with every single song but I was blown away by the cohesion, growth in their sound, vocal AND musical production.

I rarely fall in love with FULL albums in this way but this just seemed like a masterpiece that was VERY intentional in its execution and really showcased aespa at THEIR BEST.

Taeyeon Behind Recordings! OST & Time Machine

There's just pure magic in her throat I can never get over her voice.

I can't wait for her album later in the year. I pray she tours, I NEED to see her live.

StreetWOMAN Fighter Ep 1

WOAH!?!?

This shit started GUNS blazing from the jump, it was SO emotional engaging right away to the point where after I really had to take in what I watched which I LOVED cos there are some real opportunities for some nice moments as the episodes progress, I HOPE.

The dancer was also FARRR more impressive from episode 1 which I didn't think was the case for the men. They were a lot cringier and I had to get used to the battles LOOL but here? I was LIVING for each and every one. ...

A beautiful ending INDEED!

Easily my favourite finale episode I've watched from the competition shows so far. It wasn't full of useless fodder and each group had touching fun moments prior to their final performance. That Just Jerk prank had me SO STRESSED.

We Dem Boyz really put on such a beautiful performance man it nearly had me in fucking TEARS and then Just Jerk came and BLEW EVERYONE AWAY, it really was a done deal after that!!

Ok, I DUNNO why It took me this long to watch more episodes from this show.

The conversation between YJ, TH & Suga was suuuuuper enlightening, engaging and fascinating, I was literally getting dopamine hits cos it was THAT good. Loved how open they were with each other and I learnt some great things about their relationship as TXT members.

Jungkook's episode was everything I knew to expect from JK's nature as a troll when it comes to his members haha in the most loveable way....

I had to check out SOMETHING of theirs.

They are EXACTLY who I knew they'd be, confident, unique and comfortable in their own skin with great chemistry on stage!

They LOOK gorgeous, the band is fantastic and they KNOW how to perform. The Boyz Zeneration Concert Review

I HAVE SO many thoughts, mostly not good but it is what it is lol.

The positives are, AT LEAST the music fucking BANGS for the most part, wish we had more of my fave bsides but also had some amazing ones. Their performance has a lot of energy and their styling isn't the worst I've seen.

Sunwoo is such an amazing, charismatic and captivating idol. He's so special and my love for him just keeps growing, so full of personality. Juyeon, Eric, Jacob & Kevin were also stand outs. ...

Well there's nothing quite like finally finding the energy to film a reaction and for SOME REASON my phone just stopped recording. It's the weirdest thing, right at the start.

So my reaction will be a podcast essentially, thank god I record my sound separately with a good mic.

VERY annoying but I've also learnt not to dwell on these things, technology just does that sometimes lol.

Irene & Seulgi Album Review!

SOLID as hell!!

Like sonically I wish there were prettier r&b moments but it rightfully so stays in a dark mood but as a concept this is SORELY missed in SM. They were AHEAD of their time. It's soo cohesive I need them to come back! STAT!

I can see why you all wanted me to check out the recording session, I'm definitely noticing some growth vocally, Sunoo REALLY blew me away. It's a shame the clips are SO damn short. I really hope we get more. They're growing in experience which helps with their vocals for sure.
