Friday Update - November 15

 Happy Friday! We've got a bad news/good news situation going on here at the moment.

The bad news is that I have been charged with taking care of my cousin this weekend. This is bad news because I am only able to do overnight rendering until his parents come and take him on Sunday. The first and only thing he wants to do when he gets here is jump on the computer, and if he were to inform his parents that he saw me rendering a porn game it would make for a really awkward Thanksgivin...

When I first released the VN, I had people complain that the MC - the Main Character, your avatar in the game - looked too old because of the stubble. In update 0.2 I gave him a shave. Of course he could grow it back!

Last update I talked about the problems I've had with 0.4. I'm happy to report that those problems are now subsiding. However, there's still a lot of writing to do, so I'm not in full-on render mode yet. As a result I'm still not able to give you a great estimate for the release date.

Friday Update - November 1

Happy November!

I don't yet have much to report to you about the update. The rewrite is going well and I'm much happier with what I have - which is why I went ahead and delayed the update. But I'm not quite sure yet how long of an update it will be. That means I can't really estimate the percentages for my Patreon home page. I should have more of an idea next week after a good, full week of rendering.

Friday Update - October 25

This update sucks, and I apologize for that.

My intention was to release 0.4 by November 8. That is not going to happen. I now hope to release it during the last week of November.

The reason for the delay is that I hit a roadblock on the creative side of things. My creative process is somewhat hit and miss. Things either fit together and work, or they don't. The content that I currently have for 0.4 doesn't fit and I'm not happy with it.

Friday Update - October 18

"Why is Maeve on her knees in a pumpkin patch?" you may ask.

The answer is that I was thinking of It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, where Charlie Brown sat around in a pumpkin patch waiting for a huge ass pumpkin for some reason, while his friends went out and stocked up on candy. It's a really weird, depressing show when you think about it.

0.2 took a month for the update. 0.3 took about 5 weeks. I'm wondering if you would prefer I do longer updates that take more time or would you rather I make sure the updates are monthly, or would you rather I keep it as it is now, with updates taking around 5-6 weeks?

I finally have some pretty good progress to report. I've updated the main page to report 15% rendering and 35% writing. 

The bad news is that could change significantly. So far it seems I'm not at all proficient with predicting the length of an update until about the last week. I know where I'm going with the characters and the story ...

This is the start of splitting up the Cosplay and Lingerie of the Week renders. I'm going to try it and see how I like it, but right now I like the concept of posting something new each day Tuesday through Friday.

Welcome to the new patrons that have joined us since the last update! 

I hope you all enjoyed 0.3. It was a bit of a crunch for me during the last week or two, but I was pretty happy with the result. I *think* my lighting improved quite a bit, though I'm not sure if people can tell much difference. Unless it's a special circumstance, lighting tends to be one of those things you only notice when it's not good, heh.

It is in testing right now and should be ready late tonight EST.

It looks like Thursday - tomorrow - is the day for Unleashed 0.3!

Where I stand right now:
• The renders are complete. However, once I go through the update I usually decide to add a render here and there.

• Post-processing should be finished within the hour. 

• I'll work on coding tonight. There are a couple unique things about 0.3 but I don't expect too much trouble. 

Once the coding is complete I'll take several hours away before I give it a final...
