The march recipe thread

● I did a few of the dishes suggeted in the thread - birthday cakes, meatloaf ( classic, chcikpea), eggplant parmesan, cheesecake

● ( I didnt end up doing the St. Patrick day themed drink because I ended up spending a lot of time on the mill. And last year I made a few themed stuff)

● For April I will do martinis ( and an martini shaker appliance)...

MILKSHAKE DISCUSSION

Now that there is milk..I can start thinking about milkshakes!
So how do you want me to approach it ?

Do you want me to go the lemonade way and add -
1. Milkshake maker/Blender - Countertop
2. Milk shake self serve stand/Drink dispensor similar to the candy dispensor
3. Milkshake Bar/Add to lemonade Bar

4. Want to grab the milkshakes from the fridge too ?

Any other ideas ?

Chicken Coop Issues

Do you have any issues with the chicken coop ?

I have plans to make some minor update to it -

1. Add the animated chicken vfx
2. Optimising/streamlining the code
3. One sim can tend to more than one coop
4. Day and Night cycle ?

I dont think I can reliably make free range chicken...the chicken will move around within an area and all feeding and egg collecting will still be from the coop as it will be the most convenient way.

Anything else you can suggest ...

Cakes Sneak Peek

I made 4 Birthday cakes with different themes. Took me some time to brainstorm the designs 😄

These cakes uses the flour, sugar and butter.

I will be making more for later!

Now I will make cheesecake or two!

Question about new Skill

Do you think the functional mill should have a new skill associated with it ? if yes what should the skill be ?

The skill will be for future updates. For March...I just want fo get the basic mill + Few craftables ready!

Sims Birthday Food - Part 2 WIP

I had made some more foods for the ocassion! I think I am going to upload them for my own birthday in march lol

These are a little bit different from my current foods because there were some mesh and texture limitations but I hope you guys like it!

🎂What products to make for Baking ?

I am making -

• Flour - from wheat
• Sugar - from sugar cane ( new plant)
• Baking Powder - from corn ?
• Cream Cheese - From milk + cheese + lemon (?)
• Butter - From plain milk ( Non dairy butters will be made with the canning station - I have made a new category of preserve - Make Butter)

I wanted to make a food synthesizer like the one from Sims 3 Into the Future. I tried lots of things to make the food buyable by shortcuts but ultimately I had to go about it the long way if I wanted the food to have price points. I am happy with how it turned out!

CHOCOLATE TRAY

Update 12th Feb 2023 - Fixed an LE

I wanted a cool way to set out party snacks especially for Love day week, so I came up with this! Set the tray out, fill it with chocolate, decorate the tray with various bowls and jars and grab treats! Perfect for home parties!

Mod issues ?

Have you had crashing in debug with any of my mods ?
Is this new ?
Which ones cause crashing ? Foods ?
Edit 1 - I thik I may have found the issue. For some reason sims 4 studion tagged some of the stuff as build item. The ones randomly tagged as build may cause crashing. But it was mainly for my latest WIP stuff with the latest sims 4 studio . 
I am looking through the already uploaded stuff to find if any of them crashes the game. Let me know if anything of ...

In March there is Holi, St. Patrick's Day and my Birthday so I am going to make some stuff related to that. Anything which you guys want ?

For March I am planning to do a month full of food and drink!
( No special crafting as a lot of the crafting stuff I have been working on are just early WIPs)

Food Synthesizer and Buyable Food Sneak Peek

This will consist of two parts - 

1. Buyable food  

- Single Plates of food Buyable directly from the catalogue

- Always fresh

2. Food Synthesizer

- Appliance

- Selecting an option will open a food picker menu from where you can buy/synthesize food for a small fee.

- The food will be found in the inventory ( see the notification on buying food)

- Will require Buyable food packages . Will include an opt...

NEW STUFF COMING WITH CANNING STATION

So with the upcoming update you will get 10 new preserves and associated breads.

There will also be  remodel of some of  the previous preserves...mainly sauces.

The new preserves have different bottles for jams, spreads, pickles and sauces. The breads are different for different type of preserve.

The remodel of the old sauce preserves include new bottles for the sauces and a variety of different breads for the sauces.

I will slowly make new bottles and breads...

Next Month's Content!

I have planned the following -

1. ALL EA food made buyable from catalogue

2. Food synthesizer - from where you can get/synthesize/buy ALL EA food for a small fee

3. 10 new preserves - Will feature a variety of new bottles ( if you like these then I will update the older ones with new models too)

4. 10 types of Breads associated with Preserves - These are different from before and
include plates if jam breads, dinner rolls with sauce, garlic bread with pickles a...
