Fake Blood Tutorial

Okay, we are going WAY off into chemistry land here. It goes without saying that chemistry was not my forte, given the main property is math. Well, that aside, I’ve been experimenting more with chemistry and chemical compounds to create more realistic effects. This is my new, favorite way to achieve fake blood.

Some Scars

Seems that the other day, I ran across a wicked patch of poison ivy. Much to my chagrin, it has been such a pain in the ass. Albeit annoying, I do find some weird beauty in it. There’s a message to it, and for me, I look at it as a dedication to a craft. It’s a reflection of the grittiness I undergo to ensure the feeling is felt. Struggling.

I’m getting so exhausted, guys. I don’t expect people to understand, but when you work a full-time job, then take any bit of vacation time you have to travel for film or do film…you start breaking down. I’m breaking down hard. I’m trying so hard to make a dream happen, and at the same time, I see my engagement plummeting, me being shadowbanned, and people just simply not seeming to care.

I FINALLY found a use for the eye. Finally. I’ve decided to use this bad boy for the Deicide video. Did you know I lost this eye? I found it again yesterday, weird.

Anyway, it was a challenge trying to create this concept. I’m not going to lie to you—given the turnaround time I had—I feel like I winged a lot of this. Not my proudest work, but it’ll look good once post-production gives it a full edit.
