Sometime last year I bought a Neo2 Alphasmart Word Processor. It looks like Tom Peters' Funputer, but it's even simpler than that, it just types, no extra apps. It's supposed to be like a typewriter, in that in only does the one thing. But it's electronic so none of the crap you'd have to do get a type writer going ...

"Genie"

Wrote this out while sitting in my thinkin' chair last night and having fun with words and pictures. And I've been recently curious and considering goin' the Square-shaped comic page route for the future of comics that I post mostly online. Like: this is a 12 panel comic in three breezy "pages". And it's easy enough to make 12 panels work on one page, I've done so. But a stupid idea has more room to breath like this, which may trick people into thinking it's not so stupid.

Mom keeps sending me these: my old scans of my comics back in the year 2002 when I was 15 years old. Freshly having read and poured over “Johnny the Homicidal Maniac” and too much nickelodeon. Always had an urge to Follow a Guy in my comics. Have him show me around like the Little Nemo movie or Chalk Zone or whatever. I look at it and see a kid I need to love again. So, let’s have at it on this Saturday night.

Made a free zine for Free Comic Book Day next week where I will be sitting outside near my local comic shop "Comics n' More".
