here's the entirety of "crange gets some rest" in fullf color. this will set up a section of the story where crange becomes nocturnal and then it's "hiagb nitez." some of these moments are taken straight from when i first became a full time cartoonist and had no real structure for the first time in my life. So I stayed up too late and became an idiot walking around a wal mart at midnight for lunch.

howdy friends. I'm back in my office and ready to do the big things that need to be done. Above is possibly the last thing I need to do for the VGCNB book. They asked about doing a post card insert and i came up with the joke to have a hotline to bosses and how to beat them based on this old nintendo power (??) ad. We have Dr Eggman (sonic), Moon Presence (Bloodborne) and Zero Two (kirby 64) all havin' a good time on the phone and readin' the book.

driving back to my home again this week, so I will work on these boys all i can before im just on the road forever (seemingly). at least since I'm not on any update schedule, I don't feel the pulling fear and anxiety of missing updates, telling expecting people there wont't be one, and all the other good and great shit that comes with being an online adult. it's a big stupid and awful world out there, so thanks for listening.

Hey there. Sorry it has been a while. I am visiting my parents. I do that by driving down to where they live, so I was out of commission while I drove. But, I'm here, I got some work with me, so lets honk out the next hiagb.

I've been setting my sights on the only real thing I have "due" currently since it is a hard deadline and why not pop it out of the way. I'll be a month ahead of them all!!! Probably not, I bet the rest are working hard and doing well too. 

The next HiaGB arc will be a 5 pager called "Crange gets some rest", but it ties into an even more connected series of events that lead into the finale. Crange after dark. Hiagb Nightz.

I don't know if I ever posted this, but when I was tapped to write for the Regular Show comic book years back, I did a style-sample comic to see if I could also draw it. The drawing part was passed along to another, but I still got to write it, so w/e. I stumbled upon this today and thought it still was all right. I don't know if this was used by Boom in any way. I'm sure I colored it fully, but I do not have the energy or desire to dig around for it.

This is the opening page for my Tim'rous Beastie anthology comic . I'm drawing it bigger than I normally do and going with half tones to help. I'm doing a lot of things I haven't used before and seeing if they work. I might post one more page,  but this is for the book, so I can't post it all.

There's the rest of the story. Finished inking over the weekend and dealing with some troubles of the mind. But work helps. Work makes thing go okay. So I'm not just stagnating. EH!!!!

Anyway, dropped a big thing about the Wristchapel in this one without really meaning to when I started. Might as well, we're nearing the end anyway. Let's wrap this baby up.

I guess the point of taking HiaGB off an update schedule... i guess what I wanted was to not feel like I was tied down too much to one story, one thing all the time. So I did a bunch of random drawings and projects for a week, some for fun, some for work, and still had good boy to work on when I brought it on and wanted to. And I want to finish it! So yeah. finished coloring the back cover of the vg cheats n beatums book. the white space at the top is for the ISBN. might add copy text in the empty space of the bricks that mimics the same feeling of the posts I had to do also with each comic.

im working on a short story for Iron Circus' next anthology Tim'rous Beastie, and my story is called, simply, "A PIG BEING LOWERED INTO HELL IN A BUCKET." 

I'm charging myself with trying to make a comic that bleeds all the way around the edges of the pages, which means like having to do extra math so things are lined up still centerly in my thumbnails and its just a different way I'm having to think about layout in comics. I hope and pray the end result will be okay and readable...

I had a big moment last night where I realized I didn't have to be at the mercy of a timed ending for HiaGB, trying to time out everything so it ends on the anniversary on its beginning. WHILE THEMATICALLY it seems appropriate, realistically, I just want to finish it. Not in a sense of "BE OVER ALREADY" but ...

that was that. something to bring in the general mood for the third tier of our journey through time and space. which is unfortunate as I'll need another week off to work on some other projects and to, honestly, write more good boy. i was focused very much on the ending that some of the meat in between fell through and I need more arcs and situations and cheese to bring us full sandwich-circle metaphor.

im going to skip a wednesday and make it a friday two page date. i like keeping stories within the week i just dont want to push my fingers and arms anymore today. my left hand has been achein more, and i don't even draw with it. but it's always at the keyboard for short cuts and hot keys as i go back and forth from pen to eraser to clear to secondary color, etc and so on. all muscle memory. but now those muscles want a break i guess. who knows. a doctor might.

I didn't get time to finish inking this one but hey here's what my sketches look like! Trying to get back on my appointed schedule but also don't want to overwork my arms or my life. My biggest problem is time management when im the one who's time im managing and i know how to get away with doing the bare minimum for myself. It's a real give and take around here!!!!
