This will be a bit of a short update as there was a bit of personal news I wanted to share.

Skelly Squeep (Revised)

I've been slowly pecking away at an older image that I had posted the roughs to some months ago.  I had a lot of revisions to do in this one.  Everything from switching the weapon hand on one skeleton, to giving Hyrah a slightly more 'battle' stance.  I even added a few more skeletons to make it seem more of a 'bone pit' and less of a sterile room.

I'll finish the last few revisions and start to ink this.  I'm hoping to get this painted this month.

A ramble about Patron sketches

I've been looking at the list of upcoming illustrations I'll be doing for the $10 tier folks and kind of hit a problem that I've been trying to figure out how to handle.

Namely, the list keeps growing.  Now this isn't a bad problem to have.  I'm touched that this many folks would want to support me at this level.  However I also want to reward folks who have been around for months/years now with a second illustration.  Some have had a couple, but others keep getting ...

Its been hard to stay creatively motivated lately.  As mentioned before, I've had a hit to my health that's just left me kind of drifting along on the tattered rags of creativity for the last few weeks now.

I wanted to do some 'dumb idea' sketches to keep in some semblance of practice.  The idea isn't to do a highly detailed, finished sketch, but to just do something raw to keep the pen moving.

The War up there in the Star.

I did a war of star.

Done for a mini-game of Savage Worlds Star Wars that I'll be running.  One of the NPC's named Jav.  I'm not sure what the race is called, as its a homebrew that came from decades ago.  Smaller folks with horns though, because of course it is.

Jav is a smarts-heavy engineer who's honestly a bit tired of everyone's bull.  But he's got a mission, and he's going to see it through.
