Redone page, a new page, some added dialogue, and a progress update

Pages 10 and 11 are super important to the story of Toph Heavy. In Part 2 Poppy Beifong (Toph's Mother) was the only one who recognized what happened under the table. That was meant to imply that Poppy had a libido and Toph had inherited it. It was meant to be a jumping-off point for pages 10 and 11 in Part 3 and those pages would set Toph on her journey.

Part 3 Page 1-40 Ink Preview

These are a couple of my favorite pages from the 40 pages I inked this month. They are all available as a download link if you are in the WIP tier. 

I don't think I'm going to hit my self imposed deadline. Even doing these at 2 or 3 a day, I'm noticing detail that is going to slow me down in the coloring phase. I imagine that inks will be done by July, and colors will be done by September. That's my rough estimate now.  

Toph Heavy Part 3 - Inks - Pages 1 - 40

As I said, from here on out updates would be in large monthly chunks. Here's the chunk for this month. The inks (or clean up) of the first 40 pages. Inks are meant to prep for color. Some of these pages have been redrawn even during the inking process, so even within this rar file there are new drawings. I am doing these at about a rate of 2 to 3 pages a day. Expect another chunk this size next month.

A beeg post with important news

Once again, it's been a quiet month for you guys. There's a reason for that. No, nothing terrible has happened. I've just been very focused. I want to get this done by July and to be honest, in my focus, I kind of forgot to update you guys at all this month.  My bad. As an apology here's a huge post with some of what I've been working on. It's been a rough month. Here's some more OC pages

Between everything going on in the world and personally, I have not had time to really work on much this month. My father had to go to the hospital because he collapsed and was completely unresponsive. Honestly, I thought he was dead. Now he's recovering and I'm basically taking care of him. So things are going to be slow, but I'll keep workin. Thanks for your continued support. I'm going to leave the cameo tier open for an extra month as a result. 

Good news/bad news

I'll start with the bad news first. The motherboard on my work computer died this past week. 

Now for the good news; I do have a back up work computer, and all of my stuff is backed up on external hard drives so I didn't lose anything

YCH Characters, Pages, and thoughts on Part 4

So we had two lovely people purchase the guard ych pages, and one person purchased a cameo page. I don't have anything for the cameo page yet because I haven't gotten to it yet. However, I do have some of the guard pages done and here they are. I opened the criteria to futa because I realized I could use it for "part 4" later. It doesn't change the story, it just adds something to it. Sometimes, when making something it pays to not be rigid with your ideas.

Introducing the Cameo Tier

Edit: Made an adjustment to the second rule. Futa is allowed, I had an idea that would make it possible.

This is a YCH tier. It is for a single appearance of your OC in a page (maybe two) of Toph Heavy in the example pages posted above. This is NOT for the guards who play a large role in the comic later. That will be done differently. These pages will be redrawn with the OC of the patrons who purchase this tier. What page the patron gets will be entirely random. The tier is 60.00, and...

Part 3 - Page 5b - Sketch

The news that she's infertile is fantastic in her eyes.  This is also a redo/sequel page to a page from Part 2. I was really unhappy with how that page turned out, and I am taking a second stab at it.

Part 3 - Page 00b - Sketch

This is the second page added to the beginning of the comic. From here, I just need to redo a page, and fix some panels and the sketch phase will be done. YAY! From there it's inking, flatting, rendering, lettering. Each of these processes will be much quicker than the sketching phase largely because the heavy lifting has been done by the writing/thumbnailing/sketching. The only thing I need to do is not fuck up.

More Page Adjustments

these are adjusted pages for pages 43 - 80

page 44, 45, 48, 59, 60, 61

The main adjustments were to bust size. or general form and character placement.  Some clean up here and there. 

To be honest, as I go through the comic, I see a lot of stuff I'm not happy with, but I'm not going to waste too much time on this pass. Once I get to page 1, I know I'm redoing one page, and adding about 3 more. After that, we'll take care of the YCH stuff. 

Page fixes 89 and 92

I am going through and fixing anything that really stands out. I know these pages won't be perfect, but there are some mistakes that I notice that I can easily fix. I'm going through the entire comic 20 pages at a time to make these fixes. These represent the fixes for page 80 to 99. 

Part 3 - Page 99 - Sketch

The final page of Part 3. Next, I am going to be going through the entire thing to fix some errors. Then I'm going to redo/add a couple pages. And by february we'll be on to inking.

I decided to expand to split the events of page 98 in to two parts. Originally, it was all one page with Zuko finishing and then them having a conversation, but I was like "I'm sure they'll want to see more of that.

Major Edit: Woke up this morning, and as I said initially, I noticed some stuff that really bothered me. I spent the time I had today fixing those problems.  I redrew a few panels and cleaned up some others. This crap is why I'm taking so long, there are just some days where I can't draw and it shows.

Sorry this is late, but there was a power outage and it kinda set me behind. Eitherway, really happy with this page even if it is a bit rough. After taking a nearly month long break I've gone a little bit back to basics and I like how this turned out as a result.

Hey, you know what's funny? Getting sick on the day you're going to start work again. ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS.  So yeah, I'm feeling under the weather, but I said I'd start posting again today, so I powered through.

I've decided to add a couple of pages of just Toph and the YCH guards for fun. The idea is that after being with Azula, Toph is just insatiable and that will play in to the events of part 4.

Surgery Done

I am on soft foods for the next week, and I am going to be out of it because of drugs. Real talk, I didn't get much done in the intervening time because I was super freaked out about the entire thing. But man these drugs have made me super calm LOL. thanks for the patience and support.
