What I'm Working On

First of all, happy Labour Day to everyone! At least, it's a day off in Canada. I'm completely unsure about other parts of the world.

This week I'll be doing a rare editorial type of video where I try to break down the Modern Age into different parts. I was hoping to have Into The Murphyverse ready, but I don't think that script is quite ready yet. Not even close, by my standard. This week has been a whirlwind of activity for me. So, I'm going to make this kind of brief so y'all know what's in the immediate future.

Above is an enigmatic screenshot from the next video: The origin and history of Vertigo Comics. Yes, this *seems* like a remake, but I maybe used 5% of the original script. Not to mention, the original was only about 9 minutes long and this one is 20 minutes. So, a pretty significant change. I'm working hard to get this one out later today.

Next Up: Vertigo 1993

This week was a script heavy week for me. I worked on three scripts at the same time and was very unsure what I wanted to do next. The winner was a review of all the miniseries published by Vertigo Comics in 1993. I thought it would be a good comparison to the Black Label titles I've done.

Strange Audio Parts Has Launched!

The podcast companion to the video went up today. And for those wondering, this is NOT all I'm doing this week. In fact, I'm going to make this post and finish off a 24 minute video for tomorrow! It will be all the Black Label titles from 2021. It will be amusing to watch me struggle over The Human Target for five minutes, picking bits of it apart critically, but liking it nonetheless. But...that's tomorrow.

Potential Podcast Thumbnail

While thinking this option over, I also made a thumbnail. So, here's a preview of it. 

A Podcast Version, Maybe?

For a while I've been considering taking the audio from my videos, adding an introduction and some additional dialogue and basically turning the video into an audio only podcast. It's an option recently offered by YouTube.

The reason I'm leaning towards this as an option is because some people just listen to the video while doing something else. Hell, I do that with other videos myself while I'm making graphics or doing editing.

A Weekend Of Shorts

Hello everyone!

This weekend I will be releasing a bunch of Shorts on YouTube. These are all repackaged and reformatted versions of the Black Label reviews I've done thus far. I've three done and already to go and I'm hoping to do at least two more for Sunday. Although, I wouldn't mind doing all the Black Label titles as short too...once I've done the longer form video, that is.
