I've got almost everything in order now. I just need to add the alternative routes for the baby rescue, tweak a few events (shouldn't take long for those), and then finish the playthrough I started. After that I can upload the new Tower update and, hopefully, it will be better received than previous versions.
If all goes well, I'll be acclimating The Abyss for compatibility with all the latest changes soon.

While playing through The Tower I managed to do all 4 optional boss fights before day 6. That's.. a lot of spare time left over. >.>;

I started playing through FSA again and it's a wonder anyone liked The Tower update. It's pretty much a buggy, unplayable mess.. So congrats to anyone that actually managed to complete it.
One issue I noticed is that if you don't skip the text fast enough when Dillon says it's time to eat, then you could potentially get stuck in dinnertime limbo. It'll be fixed in the next version. The Alchemy interface is entirely too boring and bulky. I'm replacing it with three tables, one for each ingredient. You won't have to worry about how many ingredients or anything like that anymore. Your 2nd and 3rd potions will always be the better quality potions. I'm not sure about crafting more than one at a time, but it will certainly be faster than using the previous menus.

I'm going to remove the ink system (saving will be free and cost nothing now) and replace the ink item with an hourglass. You can use the hourglass from your inventory to see the current time at any time. I could make this an expendable item (you use one every time you check, can buy/find more) if anyone thinks it's a good idea, but I'm leaning towards not doing that.
I'll need to remember to replace the ink you can find in the game with something else. Maybe tonics or antidotes.

I think the dialogue might be one of the most difficult stumbling blocks for me when it comes to working on FSA. Dialogue issues are what grinded my work on a previous RPG to a halt. Ouch. >.>;

I think I have the reworking of the garden finished now.
At first I was going to require water and fertilizer for the plants to start growing again after you harvest them. I decided this just wouldn't be fun for an adventure styled game. You want to go out and explore, rather than re-water and re-fertilize your garden every day. So I decided that the initial crop WILL need 10 fertilizer and 10 water, just to get it started. After this, the plant will continually grow.

Just finished work on the last two boss fights for The Cellar. There are a few more things I need to tie up, like adding monster sex eventing, adding alternate dialogue to a few places, adding temp-ending, and then finish testing to make sure the entire chapter is complete-able and in good working order.

I just finished the animations for monsters in The Cellar. A couple of the monsters are kinda recycled (recolored golem and ooze) and I will likely re-use others later. I know some see monster recolors as dev laziness but I've always been rather fond of monster recolors in RPGs. I never really understood why games don't reuse more of their monsters like this. It's a very effective way of adding more filler monsters with less time investment.

I finished making a new boss for The Cellar.
Making the new boss went surprisingly smooth.
There were only a couple hiccups/bugs.
Hopefully the next two will go as smoothly.
I still need to add enemies and lighting (bad lighting of course) to The Cellar.

I really wanted to work on this today but unfortunately I had a bad stomach virus and it's kept me in bed for pretty much the whole day. The nausea was horrible. My stomach is still a bit sore but I should be back to working on this soon.
I do have some news. I worked a little last night on the first Cellar boss. I had some difficulty finding a sprite I needed so I might have to do something else.

I've been working on adding a new area called The Cellar and I added a new digging minigame as well. It might be a little grindy but I'll wait on player feedback before judging it too harshly. I've made the first two levels. After the third level it will be done and just need enemies/bosses added.

I've added a few work stations to The Tower, one of which you can use to bottle Sienna's breast milk, which will give you Fairy Milk (a rare ingredient). Like the ores the primary intention is that you can sell it for $$$ but I will also have recipes for it.
Currently 6 breast milk gives one Fairy Milk and it also takes an hour to produce.
It's like the other minigames though, you can partially fill a bottle and then come
back later on to finish it.

I've been working a lot on The Tower. I have added several minigames, the most recent of which is a cooking mini-game. Well the minigames aren't much of a minigame because you basically just activate a spot, wait for the animation to finish, and then repeat.. Maybe I can make more interesting minigames later on.
They do their job well for now, which is consuming excess time so that the days

Yesterday I finished updating the enemy behavior, minions, bonus
objectives, and exp values. There are a few new enemies that need
updating, but they probably won't make an appearance in the game anytime
soon anyway.

Currently I'm going through and updating enemy exp amounts, enemy actions, adding minions, etc.. I'm at roughly enemy 12 of 100. Some will go more slowly than others and some won't need updating at all (at least 35 can be skipped), since they're minions.

I just finished work on the boss fight in The Tower.
I think it's pretty much complete now.
It's so much fun that I decided he should be hit 12 times. :)

The first 11 days of events in The Tower are pretty much complete now. I've started working on The Caverns area there and the first boss, Dark Drake, is mostly functional. I just need to add his turn-based combat routine. You can defeat the Dark Drake through an action sequence or, if you fail, then you have to fight it through TB combat.

Sorry there is no new game update yet. The game needs a lot of work and polish before I can feel comfortable releasing the next update.
Currently the progress on The Tower is 8/30 days complete. I will of course
