I've wanted to talk about my journey with the guitar with you guys so here it is!

I'm using my asmr voice for this but I don't know if I'd call it an "ASMR Video", given that I jam here and there. I would feel bad if someone fell asleep and this made it into their playlist and it woke them up or something lol.

Testing out the Blue Snowball Mic

I've had this Blue Snowball kicking around for years and I've wanted to try it out for different. Let's see what it sounds like!

As suspected, this microphone is really good at picking up certain sounds. But it's such a strange design.. an omnidirectional microphone that is designed to be spoken to (it's a "Podcasters" mic) from the front yet it has an open back that will pick up lots of ambient noise. Like.. what?

Attack of the Crypto Scammers!

Now that it's finally over, I can tell you about that one time a crypto-scammer tried to steal my channel.

These gummies came from the same place has that strange jellybean sampler. I got em on mothers day while I was there picking out a card haha.

These discount/clearance stores are hit-or-miss but they occasionally have gems like strange candies or other sweets. Those knott's berry farm shortbread cookies came from there, too!

Rambling about vlogs & asmr videos while snacking on some jellybeans

Here's the audio-bias version of the Jellybean video. This is a bit closer to the original recording but without the mixing "polish", if you want to call it that haha.

The noise gate made it very difficult to isolate the sound to remove the electronic buzzing from the SM57. This was an interesting experiment but I much prefer producing asmr with raw natural audio without pre-processing.

[Audio] Melody Practice

I got a melody stuck in my head this morning so I decided to try and transcribe it onto the guitar.

This one is pretty unstructured; I think I was trying to find a way to make the melody work with my playing style. I had been listening to some Creed albums and that definitely influenced that low D that I was leaning on at the end.

Opening & Sampling a Box of Jelly Belly Jellybeans

I saw this gift box of Jelly Belly Jellybeans and knew right away it would make a perfect prop for an Egee video!

My original idea was to sort them, inspired from that other candy sorting video I did a while ago. It took me 45 minutes to open and sample them so adding another 30 minutes for sorting them didn't sound like a good plan haha.

ASMR Fizzy Water, Ice Cubes, & Can Sounds!

Someone said they'd like to hear some fizzy water sounds so here ya go.

It's sparking water that I thought sounded good with my audio monitor on. I like my soda water ice cold so I usually pour it into a cup with ice in it; that's what you are hearing!

A thing I used to do when I was more active with the Egee channel was post weird sponsorship requests I'd get from time to time.

I've worked with sponsors like Linode and NordVPN in the past but it's not something I typically do. This "BZfuture" company appears to be an online retailer of possibly bootleg hardware.
