An update~!

Hello my gemlins e _e)/ 💜

I finally finished the project that's kept me busy for most of the month, a week later than planned, but at least that delay wasn't really my fault LOL;;;

In my last post I said that the most labour-intensive part was over but I was wrong about that and I feel very, very drained and tired now that it's done. (hopefully done - I'm waiting for final feedback now)

It was an interesting experience and I hope I can show you what I've been up to soon, ...

I'm sorry for my long absence, the past 2 weeks went by in a blur OTL;;;

I'm still working on the project I mentioned in the last post but I think the most labour intensive part of it is done now, so hooray for that. I also finished the layout of the book, it's going to be 198 pages long ahaha. All that's left to do is write the afterword, then I'll order a sample book from a few printing companies to see which one I wanna go with this time.

Working with screentones was a lot of fun and good practise, I rely on colours so much that making an image work in black and white feels very different and also more difficult to me at this point. I'd like to say a few things about how J & J are handling this topic ; o;) Because I think some readers might expect... more support?? from Jacob for his brother? In the form of telling their mum off? Which is definitely something that's happened before, but going off on a parent doesn't always solve the problem, might even make it harder in the future, especially when you can't or aren't willing to risk having to cut them out completely.
