It's another slightly short weekly as I'm busy gearing up for releasing v0.8.1 to beta, but there's still a few things to show off. Most notably some more new sound effects!

Over the last month we’ve had a poll for artifacts, and a poll for rings/wands. Originally my plan was to do one poll each for artifacts, rings, and wands. However, rings and wands ended up getting merged into their own poll instead, so what do we do with our third poll?

I’ve spent most of last week working on 0.8.0a, which should be releasing today! 0.8.0a is primarily bugfixes, but also includes some balance and QOL tweaks. On the balance front I’m buffing sniper shot and slightly scaling back DM-300, Yog, and ripper demons. As I’m sure you’re all aware, 0.8.0 finally released last Thursday! I spent the first half of last week finishing up spritework, and after release I’ve been mainly focused on replying to a bunch of messages and tracking issues relating to the update.
0.8.0 is doing very well so far, honestly better than I expected, but there are always enough issues to warrant a patch. It’s not too pressing though, so I’ll likely wait until later this week or even early next...
