This is actually a totally reasonable choice by Annie's Mom. Even if she had power, her suit isn't that strong. (although it does look like there could be power in that room...)
I guess it isn't obvious yet, but Mira is the one who says if someone has to hurt Evilyn, it should be her.

This is the first time we've seen Evilyn's costume in years. I wonder if this is the last time too? I might give her a different costume after this maybe.

I think all that's left is color and lettering (Although coloring is when you usually notice things you missed).
What's happening here is that Mastermind has arranged for a group of B-Class heroes to help Evilyn. They think if they can keep her as Mean Evie long enough, she might gain control over that form.
I removed Thunderpunch from the final panel here because I hadn't planned for his size correctly. I drew everyone else, then realized I was way underestimating his...

Okay, no text yet, but what happens here is that Mira tells Evilyn they've arranged for some B-Class heroes to help her. They're going to trigger Mean Evie and see if she can gain control if she's as Mean Evie for long enough. She's usually only ever been that way for a few minutes at best.

Max is still being hugged by her Mom. She looks over and sees Sam and her husband, who is some kind of scientist. The joke here is that they almost never have any public display of affection, so even something really minor is scandalous.
Page 11-
To shake things up, Max tells her Mom that Sam would like a hug too. Max leaves into the party.

- Tabitha from Pulse waking up. Not sure if I should focus on her looking tired, or have her with an alarm clock in her hands like it just woke her up.
- This was in an older sketch dump, I wasn't sure who it should be. I think now it's probably Nani from Peeved. It looks like the correct proportions for her.

My plan was having both Annie and Evilyn hiding would be a fun callback to Evilyn hiding from Annie. And really Annie has had so few interactions with Mira I thought she'd hide too. Evilyn is worried Mira might hold her responsible for Arim's body getting wrecked.
Okay, one more page left to the chapter. This next page sets up the whole next chapter.

I feel like whenever you make a comic, you realize things you should have included, or even things that people tell you they'd rather the story be about. I feel like I missed out on explaining the months after loss of heroes when they where petrified.
