Again, I did this yesterday so I think it counts. Which means we're all set for August, and hopefully less stress! Anyway, this was Solain's July pick, and DAMN it was a good one! This is a movie that is like tailor made for my taste, so I don't know how I managed to avoid it. But yeah, great characters, male bonding, fantastic action (BOOM BOOM) and HELLO that score! A+

We get to train with Tokito again, not a whole lot to learn from him but it was nice to see him again. His training is pretty tough but I imagine it's only going to get worse once we work with Beetlejuice and Scarface. Luckily it appears we're with Kanroji next. Enjoy!

Super excited to start a new show! I've seen bits and pieces of this series but I want to see it from the beginning and get all the context. And that's a wrap on the Swordsmith Village arc! We are now caught up to the new season, which appears to have just started releasing dubbed episodes. So the plan is to do reactions to those as they release, and I will also be starting My Hero Academia from the beginning so if you are liking the anime reactions there will certainly be plenty!

I don't know about anyone else, but I really didn't expect to like this movie as much as I did. I always appreciate people sharing their thoughts, and I DO think most new things suck, but I'm not going to pretend I don't like something because of that. This was fun, it was exciting, it felt like a BHC movie, so that's good enough for me!

Damn this was (no pun intended) one crazy ride! A really interesting contrast between quiet character study and insane graphic violence and action.
Headphone Warning: the sound mixing on this movie is kind of nuts, trying to make the loud parts tolerable makes the softer conversational parts inaudible. I did my best, but be forewarned that there will be some really loud parts.
Really excellent movie, I'd never heard of it before, but I will be telling people about it for sure! Well directed and acted, with a slow burner plot that explodes in ways you can't predict, thanks to DroidC for the great choice, hope you all enjoy 💜
