Barebella Page 9

This is a comic I am painting a page for every month. There’s only a rough storyline, that I won’t disclose, to have some

guidance, but I try to spontaneously go with the flow otherwise. It isn’t yet perfect. I paint quickly to not lose momentum

and will clean it up when it’s done. I’m not sure how many pages it will be but I’m aiming for a basic 44.

That means it might get a follow up. Or not if I can’t get it printed.

By the looks of it Easter is going to be beautiful. Social restrictions or not.
The extra version is how it actually started but I'm happy with it, without the text too.

Stiletto heels might be good for the lawn, by the way. The holes gives some air to the grass. So...no worries there.

I found a bunny in the back yard :D I had to give her some clothing I had laying around because, hey, this will be public stuff soon. However, not before I made a couple of shots for my Patrons, who might appreciate the original version. Two versions actually. This started out as a cartoon for some reason.

With Easter approaching it's logical for me to paint bunnies, right? I'm just not sure yet if this fits the mood. I might just paint it after Easter because it works for other occasions better perhaps.

As some artists have a blue, purple or red period, I may be in my blonde period. I don't know how that happened. Blonde hair is the most difficult to paint for me so it does slow me down a bit. When the color is off just a tiny bit it ruins it for me, so I spend more time on getting that right. Also, with dark hair you can just hint at curls and strands of hair without having to actually paint everything but with blonde hair it needs more attention. Luckily she didn't brush it just yet so it ...

Yes, being online can lead to the weirdest encounters. Good and bad. I think she's having a good one even though she got more than she bargained for. Quite the surprise. Even more in the less covered version for Patrons only. 

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo removed

Well, you should not zoom in that far. Your wife would not like it and it can leave a mess too (I mean; coffee spilling, stuff on your desk falling over, screen might even tilt and what not).

Bad Influence

We all have that little voice that gives us bad advice at times but it rarely looks this pretty. And Bad isn't always really bad, is it? It can be just telling someone to do something outside of one's comfort zone and that can be a positive but also difficult and scary thing.

I just started with a latex clad beauty that turned out quite superheroish, so my mind wandered on about an action scene as I don't do those much anymore. And one thing led to another (as often happens in various creative situations).

Wudonger

A more classic approach to the Beauty and the Beast theme, because I like that too. Please, don't go to these woods alone, woman. You might come across the Wudonger. Don't know what he'll be doing with you, because he's just live shrubbery and bush but he looks dangerous, so better be safe than sorry. You might not even get to see him when he's asleep, because he blends in perfectly with his habitat but hey, just in case! Better keep out!

Leashed

What can I say about werewolves? I like 'm as much as vampires and the beauty and the beast theme actually works best with them, doesn't it? They're, or were, human and their primal side comes out only at night. Contrary to vampires do werewolves look better when the beast comes out. Vampires have this bugly look about them when they get hungry and their face gets distorted to accommodate the fangs.
With werewolves it looks much more natural, fierce and dangerous.  

Mates

This theme might come up again, because I really like it and I'd like to get it perfect, one day. Beauty and the Beast appeals to me anyway and this primal version works well already.
