Warlock 3 Update

I just clicked the button and Warlock: Book 3 will release for Kindle on 9/1. :)

The manuscript has been sent to Royal Guard and they'll get it on the narrators' schedule as soon as possible, but it will be several weeks for narration and then Audible's review and approval.

I may also have to deliver a nice wine or a good whiskey to the narrators ... I'm pretty sure this will be the first time they've been asked to sing in Romani.

I'm still behind my preferred schedule, but still expect the full ARC ebook this month. I'm late on getting the manuscript to Royal Guard for audio, but have to finish it this month for them.

Preview chapters of Goblin Gigs will start in September - one to two drops a month, not twice a week, at least to start. :)

Quick Update

Next weekend I plan on making a longer update about what's next - extras, the full Warlock 3 ARC, and what/when preview chapters will be next.

At the moment, though, I'm working on the Warlock 3 revisions so that I can deliver the manuscript by the time Royal Guard has the voice actors lined up. :)

I'm not entirely happy with the pacing here, but I'll make the second-to-last Warlock 3 chapter drop and fix it in post. There are still 3-5 chapters to be added somewhere - two of them probably in this chunk - but dropping this now will set you all up to get the final preview drop next Sunday and maybe I'll get the final revisions done to release 8/1, but it will more likely be 9/1, just to give me more time for revisions and additions.

The next Warlock 3 drop

Hey, everybody - so the last few weeks have been a bit unproductive on the writing front and I'm still working on the last few chapters of Warlock 3. There've been some general life issues and a bit of adjustment to a health situation - nothing at all serious, just distracting - that have taken time away from the writing. I'm expecting the final W3 drop to be late July/early August at this point.

It was a bad couple weeks for writing, where I got very little done, so no drop tomorrow or Wednesday, but I hope to drop the remaining chapters some time after that.

See, this is why I wanted to keep it to one a week, so there'd be a buffer instead of a gap.

Anyway, I'm still working on the new chapters that will be between the last drop and what's next, and I think it would be too much to act as filler that shows up after the fact.

Probably not next Wednesday, either, but possible for next Sunday, and there will only be two more drops.

Today's drop was a little shorter than usual -- and there will likely not be a Wednesday drop.

This is where I got a little ahead of myself. There's quite a bit left of the book, but we've arrived at a gap in the story -- one I think needs to be filled a little before you get it.

So there'll be a delay on rest, then the two final drops, with the last one being pretty large to avoid cliffhangers.
