Hey there everyone. It’s time for another cyberpunk encounter map! This month, we have the “Yakuza HQ” - a gangster mob den situated in Chinatown (or Japan-town, depending on setting and narrative) and is connected to the Street: Combat Zone battle map I released earlier this month. Shoutout to Patreon supporter “Sketchy” for suggesting this map idea.
I managed to pack a bunch of intricate details into this map again - I can’t help myself but hey, if the art tells some sort of story then all the extra effort would have been worth it. This map pack comes in 3 flavors. So let’s talk about the map variants a little.
Variants
Yakuza HQ (base map)
The Yakuza HQ has an underground nightclub-like vibe and resides somewhere in Chinatown. Besides a scenario where your players might be paying a visit to the gangster mob, this encounter map is also perfect for use as a safe house or your players’ headquarters, assuming that they have commandeered the place.
The space comes equipped with an inset lounging area, bar/kitchenette, ceremonial altar, and a gaming area fitted with a pool table and a “Go” board.
There is also a weapons modification and repair desk towards the south-west corner of the room. A wall safe and a locked steel gun cabinet that sit adjacent to it.
"Oyabun"
The Japanese word “Oyabun” describes the boss of a Yakuza clan. “Kobun” are the apprentices or lower level henchmen.
This map sets the stage for an important meeting going on in the next room behind the traditional Japanese screen doors. Perhaps the big boss is having an important business meeting while the henchmen entertain themselves outside.
I’ve also included a variant tile that describes a “Yubitsume” - a finger shortening ritual that is most of you would associate with the Yakuza. You should get your players to witness this ritual first hand. Have fun with this one!
Illicit Activities
This variant changes the narrative and turns the whole HQ space into an underground gambling den, with Mahjong tables replacing the pool table and stacks of cash (and a cash counting machine) on the bar table.

I'd like to give a shoutout to the following patrons for dropping their awesome ideas for this map on Discord:
A-wiz, Hyriu33, The Sinster Storyteller, Kira Tsunayoshi, Amonkeywithafez, Cordayne and Sketchy. Thank you!
That’s all for now folks! Let me know how you like this map and how you’ll be using it in your TTRPG sessions!

Many of you have asked for a street combat zone battle map - voila, now you have it!
This was a gruelling 12 days of drawing and painting but in that time, I managed to pack a ton of details in ways I’ve not done with my previous battle maps. I hope you guys will enjoy playing in this very large, battle ground space. I really enjoyed the painting process on this one and if I had the time, I could have gone on painting this one for another 2 weeks.
It’s All Connected
As with my other maps, I aim to create connectedness, so you GM’s can have your players flow from one map to the next as often as possible. Here are some call outs of interest:
Convenience Store
At the bottom left of the map resides a 24 HR convenience store front. Pull up this Convenience Store map if your players choose to go inside to buy some snacks or whatnot.
Medical Clinic
Here lies a medical clinic that may be tied to the Ripperdoc Clinic map.
Scenario idea: perhaps your players have just visited the Ripperdoc for cyberdeck upgrades. What better way for them to test their new gear than have them emerge onto the Street Combat Zone map and be immediately engaged by a swarm of gang members from the nearby slums? By surprise, of course.
Market Street Apartment Block
Recognise this building? Yep. It’s that old apartment block at the edge of the map on Market Street. If the players take the side street adjacent to the apartment block on that map, they end up in the Combat Zone. That’s how I envision it.
Anton’s Diner
Anton’s is the place to be when it comes to picking up small jobs and getting the word on the street. You’ll find the Cyberpunk Diner map here.
Horizon Shopping Mall
Next to the diner is the entryway to a large shopping mall. Remember the Horizon Shopping Mall? You’ll find it here.
Over time, I plan to keep expanding past the Street Combat Zone map. Stay tuned!

Ripper Clinic
Hi everyone! One more sleep till New Years! I can’t believe how fast these last 12 months have gone by.
For one full year, I’ve just been keeping my head down and drawing these maps that you all play on, every single day. I’m surprised that I’ve not burnt out yet. There were a couple of times though where I was close, especially during the early days of Frag Maps. But the constant encouragement, support and amazing map ideas that came from all of you got me over each hump. And for that, you have my utmost appreciation. Thank you for supporting my love of drawing battle maps.
So, what better way to close out a really remarkable year than with an iconic cyberpunk encounter map - “The Ripperdoc Clinic”.
For those of you who aren’t running cyberpunk RPG campaigns and don’t know what a Ripperdoc is: a Ripperdoc is akin to cosmetic surgeons of today, except they deal with cyberware and prosthetic upgrades for clientele who have the funds. When players want to upgrade their characters, this is their go-to.
About Ripperdocs
This particular Ripperdoc Clinic features an underground, illegal style of operation (usually a one-man show). Underground clinics like these are generally more affordable and may offer certain upgrades (military-grade perhaps) that aren’t available through the sanctioned, larger, and more sanitary medical facilities.
Things to Note
This battle map is narratively linked and should be used in conjunction with two of my other maps: “The Convenience Store” and “Back Alley”. Check out this post (https://www.patreon.com/posts/convenience-60120516) to learn more.
Map Variants

The Butcher Shop
This variant features blood splatters across operating area, with blood trails pointing to specific areas of interest. This variant can be used to set up a murder investigation scene, or even a cybernetic upgrade gone wrong narrative where the Ripperdoc was murdered by a customer suffering from cyber-psychosis.
Another narrative might be: your players are so frugal that this highly unsanitary clinic (run by “The Butcher”) is the only one in the area that they can afford. After upgrading, infections and issues with faulty cyberdecks ensue.
Freezer Corpse
A body bagged corpse in a large freezer - pretty self-explanatory. I’m sure you guys can come up with some interesting narratives for this one. Go nuts.
The files for this variant come in a baked version (for those who prefer to print maps) and also a tile. Most of you here use VTTs, so you will be wanting to utilise the tile so that you can turn the layer on and off at a whim.
Secure Storage Cage
The secure storage cage is where valuable goods are kept: the expensive drugs, cyberware, cyberdeck upgrades etc.
The variant is a .PNG file (with transparency) of the cage that you can place over the base map layer. It can then be switched off in your virtual tabletop software (e.g. Roll20, Foundry VTT etc) when character tokens move into the caged area.

Hey all!
We've made it to another holiday season and wow, what a year it has been huh? I'm sure many of you are going to be running your sci-fi and cyberpunk TTRPG campaigns over the holiday period. So here is another epic map for your players to experience - The Convenience Store.
This convenience store battle map took me a lot longer than expected as I decided to spend a few more days detailing the crap out of the space. I hope you and your players will enjoy the extra love I infused into this one. Go ahead and zoom in. Spend some time exploring the details. I'll be happy knowing that you did (smiley face).
Like a lot of my previous battle maps, I prefer creating some kind of narrative interlink whenever possible so you guys can chain them all together taking your players from one location to another. This convenience store map ties to the Back Alley. You'll see in the screenshot there's a "7-Twelve" store and right across it, is a medical clinic (more on this in a bit).

Map Variants

Back Exit
This variant features a back door (not present in the base map) behind the store's sales counter that leads to a back-room-passage type of space. This back of the store area is filled with storage boxes, a staff locker, electrical circuit breakers, a power backup generator and a flight of stairs leading down to some mysterious place. This passage will lead to an underground/illegal ripper doc clinic - that is what I am working on right now and will release it at the end of this month.
An idea: this illegal clinic exists in the underground basement of a regulated operation. I'm sure you'll be able to come up with some cool narratives about how some of the staff operate the illegal ripper clinic after hours on behalf of a criminal mob.
Crime Scene
This variant depicts a fresh crime scene with blood pools and splatters that trail all the way behind the counter then to the back door. The narrative could be that the victim could have been badly injured at the convenience store and tries to get out through the back (or even to the previously mentioned illegal rippers clinic) in the basement.
CSI
Similar to the above but is after the authorities have arrived at the scene and removed the dead body. This is perfect for those crime scene investigation type scenarios where your players are playing detectives.

Hi all!
I am excited to bring to you "Bank Vault" - battle map 2/2 for November.
I know quite a lot of you are going to be running TTRPG sessions over the coming holiday break, so what better way to kick off a campaign than with a cyberpunk bank heist?
I'd like to thank Discord group members: Hyriu33, A-wiz, Case and AMoneyWithAFez for working through the design of this battle map with me and throwing a heap of ideas my way.
Map Dimensions - [17 x 28] squares
Map Breakdown
I had planned for this bank vault to exist in a secure, underground location accessible via an elevator. Narrative idea: this may be part of a larger complex where vault floors like this exist both above and below this one.
This map can prove incredibly challenging for your players should they attempt a heist. They will need to get past a myriad of hurdles in order to steal what they came for.
The play area is made up of 5 rooms:
- Elevator hallway
- Vault entry room
- Main vault
- Artifacts viewing room
- Gold storage chamber
Here is a quick breakdown of each room:
Elevator Hallway
Upon exiting the elevator, the players are presented with a long and narrow passage with a security camera pointed right at the elevator doors. A zero cover choke point.
Vault Entry Room
This will be where the players try and crack or hack their way through to the main vault door. The door is impenertrable and is made up of a thick, futuristic metallic alloy. I would say that explosives are not likely to breach this door.
Hacking the vault door shouldn't be a cinch either as it would make sense for the security system within this vault to be air gapped.
Main Vault
This is where the bank's customers store their valuables in lock (deposit) boxes. The lesser value items are stored within black lock boxes along the wall and are dispensed to the customer via the collection station (east wall).
The higher value items are stored within the more secure lock boxes in the middle of the room. These lock boxes retract underground when not in use and normally require one of the bank's staff with a secure pin to access. The players won't be able to just blow up or break into the boxes because they're literally out of reach, below the glass.
PS: when raised, they provide excellent cover from incoming fire and also form a tight bottleneck situation in the middle of the room.
Artifacts Viewing Room
I've included a bunch of different artifacts within this room that you can easily bind to your campaign's narrative.
This room has a variant - "Wall Breach", perfect for players (or opposing NPC's) who prefer an easier way to access the vault. They might need a shape charge with enough explosive power to break a 3.5 ft thick reinforced concrete wall however.
Gold Storage Chamber
Self explanatory. It's where precious metal bars are stored. Players who attempt a bank heist on this vault will probably go after other valuables, not the metal bars. But I had to include the gold bars as they are iconic to almost every vault heist movie I've watched. Without them, it wouldn't look like much of a vault. Eye candy is important!
Map Variants
Important note: This time, I've included the variants as tiles so you can switch them on/off on within your VTT (virtual tabletop software). The tiles are larger than they need to be so you can use the tile edges to more easily align them to the base map underneath. Most folks will be setting up their maps using these tiles.
For those who don't use VTT's and prefer to print the maps, I've included the basic baked-in versions of the variants. I chose not to bake every possible combination as practicality-wise, there'd be way too many files for you guys to deal with.

Hey everyone!
I'm thrilled to bring to you my latest battle map - "Corporate Penthouse Office".
This is one of the last maps from my backlogged to-do list and I have almost cleared the list out! I'm personally looking forward to tackling those new map ideas that many of you have presented via the Discord group.
Room Features & Usage
While this can be used as a standalone battle map, it is much better paired with the following:
Building your campaign around these maps will provide seamless continuity for your players.
Waiting Room
A pair of elevators provide access to the penthouse floor. A waiting room that is usually occupied by a secretary during business hours provides an area for the players to ready themselves before the main event.
Penthouse Suite
The suite is actually huge and the size reflects the ego of the corp CEO that it belongs to.
Towards the left wall of the office is a collection of valuable artifacts resting on pedestals and encased in glass. A possible mission scenario idea: steal one of these artifacts and escape unnoticed.
To the east lies a slightly elevated platform and a large marble column that comes with a built in bookshelf. A motion sensor rests at the top of the column covering the majority of the room. Acts such as lifting or breaking the glass encasing the artifacts will trigger the sensor and the room's security system.
Against the southwest wall is an opulent bar and a bottle shelf that doubles as a secret door that leads to a panic room (or safe room). The panic room contains a weapons stash, a wall safe and a computer system to monitor what happens outside through the eyes of the wall-mounted cameras.
Scenario idea: before the players enter the penthouse, get them to roll on a sneak check. If they are not being discreet about it, the CEO will hear them coming and make a beeline straight for the panic room. From the panic room, he will trigger the security system when the players enter the room, trapping them in the penthouse until building security arrives.
Map Variants
Trip Security
This is a ground-based security system. I've kept its effect vague so you can choose the narrative that best fits your scenario. It might be a laser system that slices limbs. Or in the case of cyberpunk, immobilize the players through the deactivation of their prosthetics or augmentation when they come into contact with the floor.
The coffee table, the couches and the elevated platform will act like islands that the players may hop on top of to make their way to safety.
Fire Stairwell
This variant provides more scenario options for the GM. The stairwell leads to lower levels and also to the rooftop. This is where the helipad map comes in. Perfect for when the CEO (or the players) need to make a quick escape and the main door is not an option.
Transparent Windows
One of my patrons from the Discord group requested that I throw in a variant where the glass windows are transparent allowing for game masters to replace the city background with an image of their choice (like space for example).
Note: This file is in .PNG format and is heavy (about 8 MB).

Hi everyone!
This is the long-awaited Hangar battle map - I've had so many requests to create a hangar maps over the past 12 months and I am just glad it is finally out there.
This RPG map was a real butt-kicker. It took me twice as long as what I had provisioned for simply because I underestimated the size (dimensions) of it. This is by far the largest battle map I've drawn to date.
I'm going to keep this post short so I can get this out to y'all. Enjoy and let me know what scenarios you plan to run on this one.

Hi all! Here is the first TTRPG battle map of the month - a high security prison complex suitable for cyberpunk and sci-fi settings.
This battle map focuses on the prison courtyard itself. Naturally that is where most violent mass combat situations take place.
Map Design Notes
There are a lot of small details throughout this map so let me cover some of the important ones I feel gamemasters should take note of.
Prison Cells
This was to be a key visual element within the map, so I decided to go with a stacked cubicle prison cell design, which looks cool and also hints at the cramped conditions that prisoners have to endure. The prison cells are so small that there isn't much room for activity. The only exemption is the 1 hour loitering time the inmates get at the courtyard. This inhumane level of treatment tends to trigger more cases of psychosis and violence amongst prison inmates.
Perhaps my own living conditions here in Melbourne, Australia (the most locked down city in the world), had a big part to play with this design choice.
Towards the southwest corner of the map is an elevator system that shuttles the inmates from their cells to the courtyard. For those who are looking for an explanation of how it works: there is a cramped passageway behind the cells where the prisoners line up in single file to access the elevator down.
Escape Routes & Other Details
While this prison might look heavily fortified, there are quite a few different options for prison break scenarios.
Along the northeastern wall, rests a ventilation and power delivery panel. There are a couple of vents here that can be used as escape routes.
The elevator system in the southwest corner can also take its occupants down to the next level of the prison facility. Having said that, make sure that there are prison guards posted around the elevator shaft to prevent unauthorized access.
Along the eastern wall lies an observation room where prison wardens or VIPs may casually observe the courtyard behind the safety of thick, bulletproof glass. This observation room rests about 10 ft above the platform. Try running a "Squid Games" kind of scenario with this map (winks).
If you look closely, there is a comms panel just below the observation room. The comms panel is locked within a metal cabinet. For cyberpunk settings, this is a network access point that can be "jacked" into to control the security systems.
Northwest - just a short distance from the guard tower is a security door that the guards use to go to and from the tower when they change shifts.
The main entrance lies along the southern wall. This is the most fortified, most obvious path of escape and therefor will most likely be the one least utilised.
The Guard Tower
The access into the tower lies behind the structure on the north side. Gold supporters with the tower token assets will see floor markings on the Base Map denoting the entry point.
A double barrel automated machine gun sits on one side of the tower and will be used during riots and also for Squid Games like scenarios. I purposely created only one turret to give players an actual chance of survival as the MG would rip everything that is organic to shreds. The MG operates on a swivel and can cover most of the courtyard floor where the tables are but there are blind spots that the players can go hide in.
Conclusion
I could go on and on about the map details and ideas, so I'd better call it here. I hope you guys have a blast with this one! I sure had fun drawing this one. If you haven't already watched Squid Games on Netflix, I highly recommend it.

Hi all! We're the end of the month again (how time flies) and it is time for another battle map drop - Security Checkpoint.
Firstly, props to the Frag Maps Discord group members (new and old) who have been ever so helpful with map design ideas. Also to the moderators who have been helping out while I've been busy creating maps, thanks! You're awesome.
Design Notes
Many of my maps have covered different parts of my imagined cyberpunk city. While a security checkpoint map can be used in so many different scenarios, in my mind it is a key location that bridges the different sectors of the city.
The disparity between the social classes is what cyberpunk stories revolve around. An individual with a lower social economic status wouldn't be able to enter an area for the elite status without proper clearance. This is where the security checkpoint map comes in.
Players will have to find creative ways to get past the gates to get to parts of the city they have no access to. The same idea can be applied to sci-fi/space opera settings where players have to traverse the different levels of a space station.
New Versus Old
I tried my best to portray a difference of environment on either side of the security gates via my art style. The south is the aged part of the city: so older tech, polluted air, cramped spaces etc. Generally messier in appearance as opposed to the north, where there the ambience is just just warmer and friendlier, more spacious surrounds. How do you think it turned out?

In my previous map "The Construction Site", the mysterious pyramid structure that was uncovered hinted to something lurking beneath the dig site. This month, I present to you yet another theme continuation with "The Secret Facility".
The pyramid structure is the entrance to The Secret Facility, a sci-fi/cyberpunk battle map depicting an Area-51 style secret facility where dangerous scientific experiments take place deep underground. The Matrix and the Akira anime inspired my design choices featured in this map, especially the pipe/tube structures seen in the background.
Some of my patrons suggested a map variant with a Stargate style wormhole device. I thought it would be awesome to have the Secret Facility function as a wormhole tech development complex. I obliged and named the variant "Stein's Gate" - and yes, I borrowed the name from the famous anime series. It was quite fitting since Einstein and Rosen both theorized that space-time bridges could exist based on the theory of relativity.
This RPG battle map has many, many possibilities in terms of narratives and encounter scenarios. I made sure to keep the design style general enough to allow for GM improvisation with this regard.
Adventure Music Collaboration

"JD" from Adventure Music was the first RPG creator-community friend I made when I first started Frag Maps, 11 months back. He provided me with plenty of guidance pertaining to Patreon and also introduced me to the RPG map/asset creators guild. We both decided it was high-time we did a collaboration together.
Adventure Music wrote and recorded the track "Something Below" especially for The Secret Facility. I love the track as it really sets the perfect mood for this map. I'm sure you'll agree once you've heard it. All of you will receive a version of the .mp3. More details below.

Battle Map Dimensions: [33 x 23] squares
Hi everyone, it is time again for another battle map drop! As an FYI for those of you who are new supporters, the shopping mall was the most voted for map in the last Patreon poll.
The Horizon shopping mall RPG battle map, set in the near future / cyberpunk world, is a thematic continuation of my previous subway station battle map - "Terminus".
The battle map area focuses on the ground floor and entrance of the mall, and includes two different levels of elevation. A flight of escalators leads up to more shops and another leads to the underground subway station.
Map Design Notes & Thoughts
I did a preliminary sketch to establish the general map layout and key features on my iPad via the Concepts app. I liked the spatial quality of this initial sketch so I tried my best to stay true to this design as much as possible.

Upon drawing the final version of this map however, it became apparent that the mall looked way too sparse. In order to fill the void with more lively details, I added floating holograms and also more LED billboards.
I learned a lot about painting holograms from working on this map. I had never really drawn a semi-transparent holograms before this and let me tell you, it's not as simple as drawing an object and lowering the opacity of the layer. Figuring out how to get them to look right was a real challenge. I ended up using Blade Runner and Star Wars films for reference. The takeaway - I'm pretty confident with holo's now so expect to see more of them on my maps moving forward!
Train Wreck Example Scenario
The most fun I had was drawing the Train Wreck map variant - big thanks to the Discord group for suggesting this one. If you used the Terminus and the Modular Train maps in your previous RPG sessions, this variant would be the ultimate follow up to that.
Example Scenario
The players embark on the monorail from Terminus to diffuse a bomb on the train but encounter resistance and a battle ensues. The group manages to take the bomb offline but the main villain runs the train off its tracks in a desperate attempt to escape. It crashes at the next station, which resides underneath the Horizon shopping mall.
Easter Eggs
During the initial design and feedback stage, I received plenty of incredible ideas from my Patreon supporters over at the Fragmaps Discord server. As a gesture of gratitude, I included the usernames of the contributors as Easter eggs all across this map.
Thanks again everyone and I wish you epic encounters on this battle map. Let me know how you go!

Hi everyone. Here's the last battle map for July - the Construction Site.
This map was a real challenge because of all the crazy details that went into it. I knew I should have pulled back on the details early on but seeing the potential this map had to offer, I just had to keep going. I've been told by quite a few gamemasters over the course of my map making journey that the details I put in inspire fresh ideas. Thus, this always sticks at back of my mind with every map I create.
The Relic Variant
The initial idea with this map variant was this: demolition and reclamation of the land occupied by the slums (see "Cyber Slums" map) was in progress when the construction firm discovered a portal / doorway to a hidden underground facility.
However, I also wanted the variant to offer more flexibility than just a doorway to another place. I was thinking maybe an alien artefact that was a huge threat to not only the players but to the city as well.
In the end, I opted for a simpler 2-in-1 solution: an alien pyramid structure generic enough to serve as either an artefact or a doorway to another place.
Those of you who've watched Jeremy Renner's movie ("The Arrival") will know where my mindset was during the concept stage. Here is a fun scenario idea: Have your players try and figure out how to gain access into the pyramid, while they get swarmed by enemies coming in from all angles.

Hi all, I am currently working on the construction site battle map, but I wasn't sure what kind of maps to tackle for August. So let's do a quick poll, shall we?
I managed to grab a handful of ideas from the Discord group and I have to admit, these are pretty darn cool.
Vote it up people! This poll closes in 7 days.

Hey there everyone, it is time again for another RPG battle map release and this one is a continuation from last month's Terminus monorail station map!
I give you "SoundPiercer" a futuristic sci-fi/cyberpunk monorail battle map featuring modular cars. Configure an entire train to suit your mission objectives. Need a long distance train? Fill the train with only coach B variant cars. Running a bomb diffuse mission? Throw in a cargo car and plant a hidden nuke within it. How about a military-cargo train? Throw in the cargo and ECM/networking cars.
The adventures are endless on SoundPiercer, 1001 cars long. One Train!
Design Notes
This is the first time I have attempted to create a battle map that is reconfigurable in a multitude of ways. When perspective maps and modularity combine, things get really really tricky. I went through a slew of different technical problems during its creation process. One such issue was whether or not to increase the width of each car for playability's sake. Initially, I wanted a more realistic 9.5' wide car but after consulting with many of you on Discord, I was convinced that 15' was a better width for gaming.

Hey all. A few months back you asked for a corporate subway station battle map for your Cyberpunk and sci-fi campaigns. I give you, "The Terminus".
"An important scientist and his entourage is set to disembark at the Market Street monorail station. Security intel informs that there will be an assassination attempt at the scientist's life, at the very platform he disembarks from. Your group has been tasked ahead of time with security detail - Perform a sweep and arrest the assassins before the VIP arrives. Will your group be able to save the scientist in time? "
This is just one example idea of a mission scenario at the Terminus. I'm sure this battle map will spawn plenty of other ideas that even lead beyond the station.
Design Description
The size of the map comes in at [36x19] squares (or 5040 x 2660 at 140 DPI).
This dual platform monorail station map features an expansive Art Nouveau style glass facade that offers panoramic views from the second level promenade. It includes multiple points of entry and exit to and from the central platform area, along with a ticketed gateway equipped with bio-scanners) that leads to Market Street, located along the east wall. A large underground passageway towards the west leads to restaurants, clubs and the shopping district.
Frag Map Community Shoutouts
When I started out on this map, I had envisioned something completely different from the final version of this battle map. Feedback from some of you on the Frag Maps Discord server resulted broad changes in the details and layout. I think the final version turned out much better than my initial design.
I just wanted to give a shoutout to the community members who greatly contributed towards this map with lots of early input: Marty Ramirez, Waynetrav, AMonkeyWithAFez, Hyriu33, Andriod (not a spelling error), and MaxXIII.
Map Variants & Downloads
This map set comes in 3 different variants:
- The Terminus - (Bronze)
- Terminus Base + above (Silver)
- Monorail Internal + Roof Cap + above (Gold)
Note: The "Roof Cap" variant is optional and caters to those of you who utilise VTTs (virtual tabletops) like Foundry, Roll20 etc. You add the roof cap as a separate layer within your VTT so you can switch the internal carriage view off when you do not need it.

This underground Ammo Bunker battle map has been on my checklist for quite some time now and was widely requested by many of you supporters - so here it is in all its glory!
I have always had a pretty good idea of how I wanted this map to look, in my head. It was to have a post-apocalypic feel, but still be well-suited to cyberpunk and certain sci-fi settings. In short, a map with loads of flexibility.
I pictured crates loaded up with ammunition and futuristic rifles lined up in gun cages. A large hole in the ceiling would allow for some sunlight to pour into the room, and also foliage to creep in and down the walls. Now that it is complete, I reckon my vision was captured pretty closely.
Map Details
The bunker is a split level (6x12 square) space comprising of living quarters on the upper deck and a kitchenette and storage on the lower ground level. The deck is raised up from floor level by about 4 ft, so a person standing on the lower ground level would easily be able to see everything at deck level.
There are two entry & exit points on the map. I originally intended for the main entry to be from the south, with a flight of stairs in the north leading to another room. But depending on your RPG campaign, you could flip it around and make the main entry point the stairs. Again, flexibility.
The rusted door to the north west (next to the electrical switch board), can be utilized as a pill box to shoot out of but can also be treated as a safe room or storage room. In one of the map variants, I've included corrugated metal sheets camouflaging that area in case some of you GM's don't want there to be place your players can hole up in should danger arise.
The rest of the items are pretty self-explanatory. Have fun examining the details and let me know how you like them and how you would run a combat or investigative encounter on this map. Comment below.
Thanks again for your support!

Post Mortem
"The Trauma Ward" is a hospital RPG map that some supporters have been wanting me to draw for around 5 months now. I'm glad that I can finally check this one off the list! This piece was especially challenging for me because of all the details and reflections. In theory, I could spend another week on just sprucing every reflection up, but this map took me a total of 12 days as it is, I had to call it "done" at this point as I was running out of time.
This battle map focuses in on the emergency wing of the hospital, an area where patients who are in a critical condition get air-lifted to. The helipad leads down to the trauma ward via a pair of elevators.
Note: I planned this map to be used in conjunction with the Skyscraper Helipad map and also the Trauma Team AV.
Shoutouts
I'd like to quickly thank two of my long-term supporters TinyTaters and Hyriu33 for helping me get over my analysis paralysis (which happens more often than not) with some late-stage design ideas. Thanks guys, you're champions in my book.
Map Definitions
At the center of this battle map lies both the surgery theatre and the pre-operation room. The round cylinders you see in the pre-op room can be anything your cyberpunk or sci-fi campaign needs them to be. Personally, I'd view them as cryo-stasis pods/tubes - patients who are in a critical condition get placed here to keep them alive, while they await operation. I'm sure you guys will come up with some interesting scenarios around those objects!
That curved structure next to the cryo-stasis tubes, is the sterilization chamber. The medical staff would typically walk under the structure to get sanitized before entering the operation theatre. Alternatively, you can treat it as some sort of x-ray machine or scanner. Useful when trying to find out if a party member has internal bleeding etc.
The four medical beds located against the north wall of the map, defines the ward's triage zone. Another area where less critical patients come to get treated for their wounds or prepped for surgery. This zone can also be treated as a recovery bay if you so wish.
The door to the north west, leads to another trauma ward, and the door at the south east, leads to a general part of the hospital. The other rooms to note are: reception desk, break room and the locker room.
Variants
This map pack comes with quite a few variants. The base color scheme has a very cyberpunk feel to it. Thus, I've included the "Clinically Green" map variant, for those of you who want a more generic style of emergency ward.

Edit: I received requests post-publishing this map, asking for a non-cropped variants, where the entire map from edge to edge is made up of perfect grid squares. I've updated the respective download folders with this additional variant.

Map Design & Thoughts
Here's the first (1 of 2) RPG map for the month of May - "The Back Alley". This is yet another extension of the imaginary cyberpunk/futuristic city that I have been building up since the inception of Frag maps.
When I was conceptualizing this battle map, I wanted a dead end alleyway that led to some sort of gang holdout. I also wanted it to be connected to the back of the Viper Bar - a club that was featured in the Old Rooftop map.
I designed this battle map to have a tight and dynamic feel to it. To achieve that, I went with a tilted layout where the action would flow from one corner to the other (perfectly perpendicular layouts are boring to look at IMHO). The map begins with two lanes that merge near the center. Should the club entrance be heavily guarded with goons, the dual lanes allow for strategic variety and hard cover as the players attempt to close in for combat.
For one of the variants, I added a large delivery truck parked at the warehouse's loading dock. This serves two purposes:
- Bottleneck one of the lanes to force the players to use the other one, if they want to move quickly. That said, some players may decide to set up a sniper position on top of the truck, you just never know. I'm trying to provide creative possibilities here 😂
- To create an alternate point of focus that isn't the club. Perhaps the players emerge from the club to notice a large delivery truck getting loaded with illicit cargo. Again, extending replay value.
I'd like to thank one of the Gold tier supporters "AMonkeyWithAFez" from the Discord group for helping with the loading dock layout design early on. My initial design wasn't quite accurate to the real world. Let's just say, he knows his loading docks.
Those of you who are new supporters, check out the following maps that are thematically modular - i.e. these battle maps can be connected narratively, from one location to the next and all based around the same city:
Enjoy the map everyone and thanks for your support. Without each of you helping out, I wouldn't be here creating maps every month.

The last RPG battle map for the month of April - "The Nomad Camp".
This battle map has been requested by my Patreon supporters for a long time - and I'm glad that I finally got around to creating it. I drew inspiration from Mad Max as well as Cyberpunk 2077's Aldecaldo nomadic camp, that is situated in the Badlands.
This map can be used as a staple for any Cyberpunk or sci-fi campaign - a frequently visited location. Players may have to travel to this remote area in order to source certain types of weapons or cyberwares. Or, it could double as their base camp - let your players decide and don't rail road them, as the saying goes!
Dimensions
Spanning [46x26] squares, this battle map is one of the largest I have drawn to date.
Total time taken to completion - 13 days, including conceptualisation.
Full-resolution of map - 3629 x 6440 pixels

This map pack comes with the following variants:

Play Ideas & Conclusion
I had a lot of fun painting the "Search Lights" variant with search lights beaming across areas of the map. These light beams may be treated as no-go zones where if a player were to step into the light, it would draw unwanted (or intentional) attention.
These search lights are normally turned on when the camp's community is triggered to scout the premises for a missing person or an intruder. Note that there is a large generator on the west side of the map (next to the old refinery building) that supplies power to the entire camp - just saying.
This map should have tons of replay value. I had a blast drawing this one up but I think I'm going to crash now and sleep for 2 days straight! Drop me a comment below and let me know what you think of it.
Thanks again guys for your continual support!
Over and out,
Frag.

The Mansion Library is a continuation of my previous month's map - "Opulent Mansion". It only made sense to create this battle map after all, what's a Cyberpunk mansion without a library map for investigative missions?

Map Design Process Notes
This map was a bit of a challenge to create. The most arduous part was drawing and painting all the books - zoom in close and you'll see the details.
Conceptualising the design itself took around three days of back and forth sketching. I knew that I wanted a structure that was the key focal point of the room, while my Patreon supporters were asking for a secret doorway behind the fireplace. I really struggled to get those two prerequisites to work on the map whilst keeping things pretty.
I tried out quite a few different designs before landing on this one. I was peeling an orange for lunch one day and had an epiphany - a spherical AI home defence system with an outer shell that looked like cut-up orange peel!
I was quite satisfied with the final look of it and the brushed metal of the sphere contrasts nicely with the rest of the art decor styled interior.
This battle map took me a total of 11 days of work to complete.
Map Details
The Mansion Library comes in 3 key variants: Normal, Cyber Barrier, and Secret Door. Night time variants have also been included (see below).
Cyber Barrier
You can get creative and treat this variant in any way you see fit for your RPG encounter. The way I saw it was, this barrier is used to neutralize any cybernetic implants within a 10-15 foot radius of the sphere. This would effectively protect the mansion's owner (some uber wealthy, high society, elite class individual) against intruders whilst at his desk.
So if any characters were to come into contact with the barrier, they would lose all their enhanced abilities for a few rounds, forcing them to fight like normal humans if they want to take on the target.
Secret Door
This secret door lies behind the faux fireplace and reveals a large, steel plated door. The trigger to opening the door could be as simple as turning one of the statues on either side of the fireplace.
For a challenge, you could have the players open the safe in the bookshelf, to trigger the secret door. In fact, your players may just do that accidentally whilst meddling around with the items around the room.
What lies on the other side of the door? That's up to you GM's. In my mind, behind the steel doors is an elevator that goes down to the basement garage. An escape route perhaps?
Variants

Conclusion
Anyway, on to the next map - The Nomad Camp is next! Let me know in the comments below how you like the Mansion Library and what cool encounter ideas you can come up with, especially around the orange peel AI structure.

Hey there everyone! Here is a FREE cyberpunk themed content pack for everyone, even if you're not a Patreon supporter.
In February, several TTRPG creators and myself collaborated to put together the Sunset Alley content pack. This collaboration contains 10 RPG maps plus a full map of the alley, along with 10+ character tokens (minis), 2 tracks and a special cyberpunk variant of Humperdink’s Biofusion Boutique.
My contribution to the pack was the "Ramen Bar". The other variants of this map can be seen here.

Description
An orange and red neon sign flickers at the corner of Destiny and Horizon. Standing watch since the alley was built. Back when cars couldn't hover, belonging to a time when the sun's light could still reach the alley. Now only man-made lights try desperately to keep the thick urban smog at bay.
Sunset Alley is a market locked in deep city life. A place to get lost in. A place to get found. It's said no matter what you are looking for you can find it somewhere in the alley. Just be willing to pay the price.

Foreword
This month's RPG battle map sheds some light on the societal elites within the world of Cyberpunk.
Introducing, the Opulent Mansion. This abode may be considered a home by high status members of the elite class, but to the normal class citizens this abode is literally a palace.
This opulent mansion features expensive polished marble flooring, 16th century stone columns and 1930's art deco architectural styling. And oh, it also features a death trap called "The Cage" (unleashes a quietly sinister cackle).
For those GM's whose players have decided to assasinate an elite or break into their mansion: watch their facial expressions change as they enter a seemingly innocent looking mansion, only to find out that the owner has set up one of the most technically sophisticated (and deadly) security systems around.
The electromagnetic energy fields wall up the entire balcony of the mansion's foyer, preventing any form of escape or access to other parts of the building. The PC's would be like trapped rats in a cage. The only hope is that a lagging character outside the field can hack the mansion's AI system (located near the main doors) to shut the security system off.
Battle Map Details
This map was heavily inspired by the Bancroft's palace in Altered Carbon. I took what I liked most from it and discarded the rest. It took me about 10 days to complete with multiple iterations. The layout was really tricky.

The Old Rooftop is a highly flexible battle map for a myriad of different RPG combat encounters. Rooftop extractions via helicopter, attaining access to a gangster mob's hideout from the roof stairwell, taking out rooftop snipers before they have a chance to eliminate their targets, are just some examples that I can think of.
This is a map that I have wanted to draw for a very long time. It was heavily inspired by the Ghost In The Shell comic book, the Blade Runner movies and also Kowloon - an old part of Hong Kong city that still exists.
The Old Rooftop map should be treated as an extension of the "Market Street" and "Cyberpunk Car Park" maps that I released a while ago. For those of you with a keen eye, you'll notice recurring landmarks from those two RPG map sets. I hope that you'll have epic combat encounters on this one and I look forward to hearing your stories.

I am pleased to have collaborated with Wild Magic Surge again on this RPG map. With the previous collaboration, he brought sandstorms and fuel fire to the "Crash Site" map. This time he's bringing Blade Runner style rain and also lightning storm animated effects to the map.
We also have McRoMusic joining the collaboration to provide an kick-ass Cyberpunk dark techno track to tie this entire map pack together!

This is one of those RPG maps that can be incredibly flexible with high replay value. The multitude of details within the map can help build upon many different encounter scenarios.

Bio Lab
This is the base map containing a myriad of different features all around the room that can help build the narrative of your RPG campaign. Some features to note are:
- Photosynthesis plant water tanks
- Gene splicing table with remote controlled arms (from the workstation)
- Specimen incubation cylinders (south-west corner)
- MRI scanner (north-east corner)
- Observation room or another exit point (north wall)
- Flammable oxygen tanks (west wall)
Photosynthesis
A moody variant of the base map that emphasises that glow from the plant tanks.
Bio Mass
The laboratory scientists have been trying to splice genomes together to create something unfathomably horrid. More bio masses can be seen stored within the tanks (south-east corner), waiting to be experimented upon.
This is a great map to use if you want to scare the living daylights out of your players and create plenty of tension within your RPG encounter. Just tell them that they notice one of the bio masses flinch as they walk past the tanks. :)
Cryo Lab (light and dark)
Perfect for those of you who want to include a "super soldier" project in your campaigns. This map variant contains six cryogenic chambers that could potentially house the super soldiers (or whatever your imagination comes up with).
Tell your players that they notice one of the Cryo chambers are empty when they arrive. Sit back and watch what they do.

About This Map
Anton's diner is a well-known hotspot for a good meal and to eavesdrop on street gossip. This Cyberpunk Diner RPG map is super versatile and should be part of every GM's arsenal.
Scenario Ideas
Your players don't know what to do next? Send them to Anton's to regroup and ambush them while they are slurping away on milkshakes.
Have their rivals stop by for a bite at the same time and sit back, watch what happens.
Perhaps law enforcement has the diner surrounded and your players need to shoot their way out. Flip some tables for cover and let them get to work. The possibilities are vast.
This encounter map is designed with two exit points - front door and kitchen backdoor - that caters for situations where a quick escape is required or a sneaky backdoor ambush on restaurant patrons.
The service window turns the kitchen into a makeshift pill box, should your players find themselves under heavy fire.
The "Where's Wally" Contest
I received good number of responses from supporters who wanted their names incorporated into the map.
As I responded to each of you, I got to spend a little time getting to know each of you individually and that experience for me was fantastic. Many of you gave me plenty of positive feedback about my work, which I did not expect. Thank you for that.
Initially, I planned for a max of 10 names. But I felt bad that some of you lucked out on the draw, so I got creative and added all of your names in. I believe I have everyone accounted for. Note that some names are quite hidden, so if you don't see your name or Discord handle there, look again. Happy hunting!

Hi everyone.
Thank you for your input on the Feb poll - the most-voted for was the "Bio Lab". So that is what will be released this month, along with another surprise map which will be part of a collaboration.
The Patreon has received a surge of new members this month and I thought that it would be a great time to run a poll for March, to see what both old and new supporters prefer.
The first map in March will be of an old dilapidated rainy rooftop map that is heavily inspired by Bladerunner. This rooftop can be easily paired with the Market Street map that I released back in January, allowing you to run seamless scenarios from street level to rooftop. This will likely be yet another collab with WildMagicSurge (yes, more animated maps to come potentially!)
Please vote for which of these you'd prefer to see in March:
