Fightful Select has learned that as of today, All Elite Wrestling was to continue their tradition of running Chicago during Thanksgiving week. The company has went there in both 2021 and 2022, and will be there for this year’s show.

AEW Talent's Deal Officially Up

Vickie Guerrero is no longer All Elite.

After two years with All Elite Wrestling, Vickie Guerrero is no longer a part of the company, officially. Guerrero has not been on the road with AEW since February, when they asked her to remain home.

Fightful Select reported earlier this year that Guerrero was set to leave the company, and Guerrero confirmed that her contract would not be renewed and was set to expire in July. That period has lapsed and Guerrero is now a free agent.

Ian Riccaboni has signed on the dotted line with All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor.

Fightful Select has confirmed that Ian Riccaboni has signed a multi-year contract with All Elite Wrestling. Eric Young Left WWE, WWE Sources Say He Didn't Want To Work With Vince McMahon

There's been much speculation about Eric Young's status, and some of it is coming a lot clearer. 

Young is rumored to appear at IMPACT Slammiversary, but had been under WWE contract since last year after leaving IMPACT. Last fall, he was approached by Triple H about returning to WWE in an in-ring only capacity, and signed with the company at the start of November 2022. Fightful Select has confirmed that Stardom's Utami Hayashishita is in Calgary at the site of AEW Collision, Battle of the Belts and ROH. We've learned that she's scheduled to work a match at the tapings, but haven't learned which one. With a lot of Collision and Battle of the Belts already announced, it's likely Ring of Honor.

Update on Steve Maclin

There's some good news and some bad news on Steve Maclin.

The former IMPACT World Champion was slated for Slammiversary until an injury pulled him from the show. We were told more would be known this week, and we've learned that Maclin sustained a groin tear. Fortunately as of now, it doesn't look like it's going to require surgery.

A return timetable isn't known at this point. Maclin was replaced by Cody Deaner in the match against Scott D'Amore and a mystery opponent

Fightful Select confirmed this past week that Brian Pillman’s AEW deal expired in July after a two-year full time contract. Wrestling Observer reported that Pillman was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. We can confirm he was seen by numerous people there this week.
